A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous.

The hotel is located on top of the hill and the town, that’s approximately 20 min walk down a well bricked path is sleepy… It is not the hotel’s fault, but nonetheless the town only has a few shops open. Although, I believe most visitors are here for the open market or to hike the castle ruins beside the hotel. Overall, the hotel is excellent. Customer service is great and the restaurant in the hotel is superb regardless that it’s the only show with a 20 min walk area. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway or a relaxing weekend adventure. The staff is so helpful I asked for iron and ironing board they delivered it to the room immediately then I had problems with transportation and one of their staff drove me to the train station. I’ve stayed here several times in the past and I’m always very pleased with all of the staff the amenities and the price for the product is very reasonable

People on reception should check better what they are charging because they have charged me 8 breakfast instead of 4 and add me more paperwork to do. The rest is of the stay I had no conplains

This was my first time staying at this hotel. I enjoyed the friendly customer service the very first time I entered the building. The room was newly furbished, clean, and modern. Unfortunately, the hot water was out the next morning when I went to take a shower and the air blowing was freezing cold. Thankfully, the front desk reps were very kind and accommodating and were able to resolve the issue within an hour.

Hilfsbereites Personal, saubere aber kleine Zimmer, ruhige Lage

Leider eine Nacht mit viel Lärm, Maifest bis 1.30 danach Autolärm mit quietschenen Reifen bis 5.00 Uhr. Trotz geschlossenem Fenster wenig Schlaf.

Freundliches Personal, Zimmer war „klein aber fein“. Es war alles da, was ich brauchte. Sogar Ohr-Reiniger - das fand ich gut, weil ich sie vergessen hatte einzupacken. Ich konnte gut schlafe, das Bett war bequem und die Lage ruhig. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es gab eine große Auswahl. Ich war sehr zufrieden, danke.

Moutain top, roof terrace, nice view, excellent restaurant. Breakfast expensive, room in perfect condition even if not too spacious. Free parking. Nothing to complain, we would come back.
