We stayed here twice during our visit. We stayed two days, traveled to Buenos Aires via ferry, and returned for an additional night. We chose this hotel because it was conveniently located, and they allowed us to keep our rental car parked in a parking space directly in front of the hotel that was monitored by a security camera. We were able to store the bulk of our luggage in the trunk and leave the rental car while in Buenos Aires. It was very convenient to walk to the ferry terminal from this location. The hotel staff was amazing. We would like to particularly highlight how helpful Ignacio (“Nacho”) was in providing restaurant and excursion recommendations in Colonia del Sacramento, as well as advice for our onward journey to Punta del Este. Since we only had one night upon our return and needed to have clothes washed for our onward travel, Nacho and another staff member who works overnight washed and dried our clothes and had them folded before breakfast. The breakfast options were great, and it was a nice touch to have complimentary limoncello and a homemade dulce de leche liqueur available in the lobby lounge area for guests to enjoy. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we visit Uruguay.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel location is great for visiting the historic quarter. The breakfast was very complete.

Clean room. Wonderful breakfast. Great location, walkable distance to the old port. But the staff was the most memorable. They were friendly, professional, helpful and arranged transportation for us. Kept our larger bags overnight when we ferried over to Buenos Aires, even though they knew that when we got back we would be moving on. We really can't say enough good things about the staff and the Posada

Very nice location in Colonia, right by the old city. Had some very nice spaces. The staff were very friendly and provided great recommendations. The pool was small but nice. A bit cold, but welcome since the weather was hot. Very good breakfast options.

Staff was very nice. The breakfast was very good. Kitchen-self serf during day very efficient. Room clean but it smelled like tobacco. No elevator to second floor. Parking on street ok. Great location.

The room was amazing, we travelled two adults and two kids, and had one king size bed and two smaller beds. The staff is very kind and helpful and amenities including the pool and garden are fantastic. The hotel is very close to the center
