Clean room and shower. Comfortable bed. First night was really noisy and we couldn’t sleep (room 104 , just in front of the reception door) but next day, lovely lady from reception gave us a room on first floor, at the end of corridor and we slept really well! Thanks for her! Also, they have really good restaurant, we had awesome dinner there.

While modest and indiscreet from the street level, the rooms were, stylish, well equipped and comfy

Rooms we’re lovely and clean. Restaurant and the food were also excellent.

Very loud noises from the restaurant upstairs at 11pm. Apparently they were cleaning the floors. Then loud noises again in the hallway at 4am! Sounded like building work going on all around the room.

Great find, with easy access to motorways and rail links. Was able to leave the car and get the train in to Edinburgh or Glasgow. Great for what I needed.

Room was good and Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was of a good standard (Eggs Royale) and coffee was good. Reasonably priced too as we hadn't planned to eat there. Special mention to the night staff when we checked in after 11pm on the wrong day but managed to squeeze us in anyway. It's that sort of service that can be sorely lacking in some of the Chain hotels. Top Marks

Room was nice enough however there was only one large towel and the mattress was rather uncomfortable

Hotel is nothing fancy but not bad. Shower had a lot of mould in the seals but other than that it was fine.

The shower wasnt very hot and the bathroom was a bit grubby. The resteraunt food was excellent.

Restaurant was definitely the highlight great food reasonably priced. Rooms clean, good bathroom etc, can't fault it.

Overall a good priced hotel slightly out of the city with free parking. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable.

The staff - particularly the evening clerk who checked me in was a pure delight. The pillows are very flat. The hotel is nice, but on first arrival felt a little sketchy. There are a couple restaurants in the area, but they weren't good. It's convenient to the rail station so easy to take side trips.
