We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are quite small and the breakfast a bit limited, but overall a good place to stay if you want access to many features in the downtown.

It is and older outdated building centrally located in Montevideo. I guess it was Ok for the price. The free parking in the area was the reason I booked the property.

Hotel Klee is one of my favorite hotels in the world. It does not have modern chrome and steel, but it is comfy and cozy. There is room in the rooms to move around. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful, and the price is fair. Some may want to pay twice as much for a more modern hotel where you are treated like a stranger. That is their choice.

Such a comfortable and friendly hotel. The fact that the furnishings are a little dated is no bother in the least; nothing is threadbare. The WiFi works perfectly. The breakfast, with home baked pastries and anything else you want is delicious.

The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is nice, the WiFi always works, and it is in a nice area of downtown Montevideo, one block from Town Hall. The price is fair. You can pay twice as much and get more modern rooms, if that is what you want. But if you are looking for clean and comfortable rooms, Hotel Klee has them.

Hotel well placed for getting around Montevideo, easy walking to downtown, great restaurants and markets. Staff were helpful and friendly and happy to organise very early taxi to the airport. While decor is a little jaded the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Free breakfast was adequate.

It’s a very good location if you’re looking for downtown area. Everything is close.

Pros. The location of the hotel is excellent. Their reception and staff are so pleasant and helpful beyond description. I've traveled the world and very few places if any have been so incredibly nice. Breakfast Buffet has everything except eggs. The food is fantastic and fresh. As well as the variety. They will do everything they can to please you. Cons. The hotel is in a corner and both streets are very loud. There is a lot of traffic specially local busses day and night. Windows are not.well sealed. If you are a light sleeper bring your earplugs .

Always greeted with a smile, staff would jump to solve any inconvenience or trouble. Beds are comfortable and clean, nice tiling in the bathroom and immediate hot water in the shower. Convenient location in the center of town.

nice hotel for the price average breakfast not much variaty the room is ok but very old carpet all worn down it was probably there when the revolution started but the hotel is walking distance of the liberation plaza and the old part
