A short walk from jr kyoto station, lots of food and convenience stores nearby. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Onsen was great and the lady was very kind to walk through the process. Only downside is for a room of 3, we could only get futon beds and it wasn't the most comfortable bed to sleep on.
