Although the check in was ok, the check out was not so good.
When we checked in, we were given an electronic item to put into the safe, along with an explanation of how to use it.
When we checked out, we were told that there would be a 4 euro charge for using the safe. I pointed out that it would have been helpful to have been informed of this at the check in point, when we were given the electronic item. The response was that I should have read the information sheet that all guests are told to read when they check in (we were not told to read it).
I repeated that it would make sense (in my opinion) to inform guests of the charge at the time of giving them the electronic item.
The receptionist repeated what she had told me and gave me the 4 euro back. I did say that I would pay for the safe, but she decided not to take my money.
