Grand building. Extremely clean. Friendly staff. Great location. Fab breakfast.

4 night long weekend over Valentine's for my wife and I. Our third stay in six months. Hotel fantastic as always. The reception team, the restaurant and Bar Staff as courteous, polite and friendly as always. Special mentions to Zoe on Reception and Constantine in bars. Thank you for making the stay special.

Vintage but very clean, great cooked breakfast

Hotel was in a superb, convenient location. Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return to Harrogate again.

Always nice place staff are great

Receptionist was very welcoming, same as the dining room staff. Room was spotless and the food was excellent all credit to the chef and staff. Cannot recommend highly enough. Definitely will return. Cannot name staff individual as I don’t know their names.

Check in was awful as I had booked half board and I was told it was only bed and breakfast. I felt embarrassed and took me over an hour to try and sort things out

Room was cozy,clean,had comfortable beds.The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was OK (they will order poached eggs from the kitchen-upon request) A bit more urgency in replenishing the hot food trays would be a subtle criticism but the staff were helpful,courteous and adorned a friendly smile!

For the price and location, highly recommended. A bit dated, but it’s a traditional, old building. What makes this hotel, is the warm, friendly staff. Only criticism, maybe clean up the side of the hotel, leading to the rear car park a bit. It’s a bit dingy, floor is slippery and cigarette butts all over. Small change to make it more appealing.

Beautiful grand building full of character and Christmas charm. Staff were polite throughout the whole trip. The lovely house keeping lady on floor two was so friendly to us, especially my 7 year old. Smiley and helpful. Lovely stay.
