We checked in with a pet and the lady at check in told me she was finding a pet friendly room and that she was going to place us on the first floor, she states that they had one for us and gave us the room number and keys. The next day I was instructed by another employee that my room was not in fact pet friendly and that I would need to move rooms. She was not friendly or hospitable, and then she proceeded on locking me out of my room and leaving my dog in the room for about 30 minutes until My partner was able to come and get things straightened out. (Side Note) we had reserved the room for additional nights, we provided the card number but the employee stated she had not seen payment only the reservation, that’s how my situation resulted in me getting locked out and her telling me I would need to change rooms. Later she left us alone after I complained and we didn’t in fact have to change rooms. Just a big headache for no reason. All it took was for a conversation and understanding of what was happening.
