In general it is not bad

It was not the best decision to stay here.

The property is good, staff were nice, and parking was good too. However, it's not good that the room does not have a refrigerator. I was told to pay $20 to get one. but somehow, a lady (senior i believe) gave it to me as a complimentary. Secondly, the pillows were way too soft like baby pillows. A request to get an extra for support was turned down on the grounds that the cleaners already left. Third, not a single bottle of water was placed in the room as i havd to go and buy at the canadian Tyre nearby. Third, even AirbnB gives tea or coffee, but here, you must come downstairs to the reception to make one. Same thing applies if you want hot water. Sad to see that it's a central microwave close to the reception that is available. Nothing in the room.

Took about 15 min to check in. The whole ambiance was that of a medium security prison.

Rooms were a little dated by clean and comfortable. Most hotels in the area have more than doubled their rates due to FIFA soccer coming and covid losses. This hotel was $181.00 for the night but far cheaper than most others. Great restaurants nearby by within walking distance if need be. The double beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.

Checked in later in the evening and there was a lot of people hanging out in the lobby. Also after in our room and being on the road for some time was hoping to get some sleep but there were kids yelling and dogs barking

The room itself was clean, and the bathroom was clean, but the room was poorly lit, with one or two bulbs not even working. The thermostat made no difference. However it was decent to sleep and it was a pretty peaceful stay

Staff had an issue constantly with me walking with my dog even though it’s pet friendly. Many staff would actually make me wait just so they could go by without interacting with my dog. My dog isn’t aggressive, and I’m not sure why people who are afraid of animals work at a fully pet friendly motel. Staff was rude to me, refused to clean my room or even ask me when they could because one time they walked in while my dog was in there because I was having a smoke. No fridge, no microwave. All of 5 tv channels that work. Cards are constantly breaking and needing to be replaced. Overall it was gross staying there, only got my room cleaned once in a week. Only got my bedding changed once in a week. It’s more expensive than other motels that are BY FAR better.

Glad I only stayed one night.

Thermostat was not working. Room temp was at 83 F all night.
