I had a relaxing stay. I was in the area for work, the hotel had everything I needed. The restaurant was ok, I had the meat tasting and it was average. Otherwise the hotel is adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful the pool area was nice as was the dining area. The bathroom in the room was great, nice large rain tree shower, very clean.

Very helpfull and utterly kind staff. Good service. Nice and clean accomodations. There is a huge swimming pool and a warm one. Nature does the rest: the lake and surroundings are spectacular with many possible activities. Perhaps some options are a bit overpriced.

Nice Resort from the inside of the complex. Several nice lakes, big pool. Very nice staff. Very nice restaurant. Nice Spa. Local area just outside of the complex..not so nice.

It's quite difficult to find because it's in the middle of a natural park, but when you arrive you can leave the world apart. On the entry there's a wonderful swimming pool, then at the reception there's a well prepared staff that illustrated to us everything about the resort. We stayed in a lodge on the lake, and to get there with our luggage there was a shuttle provided by the hotel. Inside the lodge there's every commodity you can imagine: cold/hot air conditioner, wifi, a tv a minibar. The place is extremely quiet, you can sleep in total peace. If you need to eat there's even a restaurant with good and well prepared food with local ingredients and convenient prices so no need to go outside for us (for a good pizza and a soda drink you can spend around 10 pounds per person). Absolutely racomanded.

Have stayed here before and will probably stay again

We booked Plana Resort based on the outdoor activities for our teenagers and "four star" resort beauty. We arrived in the evening after driving from Germany. It took an extra hour to find the resort because of the website's incorrect address; it didn't show up in our GPS. We asked a store owner for directions-he got in his car and we followed him! The actual resort verses the web photos was striking-"one star" in our opinion. Checkin took an hour. A boy drove us in a golf cart along a dirt road surrounding the resort, to our cottage on the lake (closer in resemblance to a shack on a pond). We were covered in dust and welcomed by the predominant foul farm and fish stench! The next day we woke up to ants and a gecko in our bed. The light revealed our balcony's condition-large spiders, bird droppings, leaves, and dirt on the table and chairs. I went to ask the front desk for cleaning. They were busy, so I sat on an upholstered chair. Out flew flies from inside! In the parking lot, we were appalled to discover thousands of tiny ants crawling inside and out of our car. A guy in the parking lot commented, "You're at an ecoparco." and shrugged his shoulders. We drove out of Plana Resort leaving a cloud of dust behind us. As we headed to the nearest store to buy bug fumigators, ants flew at us out of the air-conditioning vents and crawled all over us (ants in our pants-LOL). Lastly, we learned the area is not safe.

The Plana Resort is a haven in a not so savory little town. Castel Volturno is nothing to write home about at all, from what we saw it has nothing to offer holiday makers. Plana Resort on the other hand is exactly what it's name describes, a fully self-contained resort, large swimming pool, lots of entertainment for children and a very reasonably priced restaurant with good food. There is nothing much to do or see outside of what the resort has to offer. It's not a place to go if you're looking for a peaceful get away. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, not sure if it is like this every day but there were loads of people in and around the swimming pool area and loud music was blaring for hours until about 8 at night. Luckily the rooms are quite sound proof so it didn't negatively affect us once we were in the room. The rooms are quite basic but functional, it had a nice bathroom and shower and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was very good.

Location was quiet and secluded although only a short distance from a built up area and Naples. Journey to the resort and actually locating it were disappointing but the locals were very helpful. When we found the resort we were impressed and enjoyed a relaxing five days of seclusion and heat. Only opened a short while, there is still room for improvement but the staff are very helpful. We will definitely like to return and although this is more a family or young persons resort enjoyed our stay - young at heart, we enjoyed the sun beside the lake and even the pedalo boat and bikes. Breakfasts are buffet style but with plenty of choice there is a bar, hot drinks area, ice cream stall and the restaurant. A great place to take the kids on the water with pedalo boats and canoes and there is a pool and plenty of sunloungers at the hotel. You can also enjoy a massage at this resort. Well located to travel to: Baia Domizia, Mondragone, Castel Volturno, Caserta, Capua and Naples. Its a little further to travel to Versuvius, Pompeii and Sorrento or, if heading to the north, to go into Rome. We didn't make it to Pompeii or Sorrento but drove up Versuvius after an entertaining drive through Naples in the rush hour. The coastal route and the views are simply amazing, watch those sunsets while enjoying pizza at the taverna as you take the road winding down Versuvius. After we perserved we also made it to Casertavecchia - step back in time in this quaint mountain-top village.

Posto stupendo di relax e silenzio….doccia un po’ mal funzionante però…ma ottimo in tutto

Non appena arrivato in serata nel Lodge il condizionatore non funzionava e usciva aria fredda e Il telecomando non funzionava . Lo scarico del bagno non funzionava . Chiamato più volte la reception ci mandava un tecnico che viste le difficoltà in nottata ci ha fatto spostare dal Lodge 69 a quello 70 , tutto questo avvenuto dopo la mezzanotte. Se si effettuano i dovuti controlli prima di assegnare i Lodge tutto questo poteva essere evitato. Tutto è stato una spiacevole avventura.

Un'esperienza rigenerante! Struttura ottima, giro in bici divertente e servizio in camera e cibo più che ottimi! Colazione davvero abbondante e fantastica. Lodge da sogno e tranquillo. Igiene delle camere perfetto. Prezzi non eccessivi. Ho adorato questo posto. Spero di ritornarci il prima posibile!

In primis ho contattato più volte la struttura per ricevere maggiori informazioni riguardanti l’ubicazione e i pacchetti per i vari trattamenti da poter effettuare nel resort sia tramite booking,che expedia. ho anche chiamanto più volte telefonicamente, inviato messaggi whatsapp e alla segreteria telefonica senza riuscire ad avere mai una risposta!!! il complesso é situato in un posto incantevole,piscina e lago stupendi,peccato che la struttura non sia valorizzata al massimo, google maps ci ha indicato una strada che si fa difficoltà anche a chiamarla con questo nome,bisognava passare in una strada stretta e non asfaltata fatta praticamente di sole terre agricole,una volta arrivati non c’era nessun tipo di indicazione bisognava camminare e camminare nel fango, una volta arrivati ci é stato comunicato che google maps doveva essere aggiornato in quanto l’entrata era un’altra!. La camera é molto spaziosa ma purtroppo mal messa,porte rotte,pezzi mancanti di servizi sanitari,il piccolo terrazzino sporco,pieno di foglie e con una sola e misera sedia senza tavolini o almeno due sedie....Abbiamo usufruito anche del servizio spa anch’esso da migliorare!Il personale abbastanza qualificato ma in particolar modo il personale della reception non interagisce con gli ospiti sembra quasi di dare fastidio!Il ristorante e il cibo ottimi!la pizza da provare assolutamente!In generale vorrei suggerire alla struttura di valorizzare le proprie opportunità e di migliorarle!

Bellissima struttura gestita malissimo. Un paradiso, se nn fosse sporchissimo, a partire dall’acqua della piscina dove nn si vede il fondo. Balconi delle camere sul lago con foglie secche e sdraie che nn vengono pulite da almeno un mese. Personale in affanno perchè chiaramente troppo pochi per una struttura del genere. Si paga come il grand Hotel, il servizio è da ostello.

Sono rimasto molto deluso poiché sono andato altre volte in questo resort e non era in queste condizioni: lodge non al top della pulizia, prese della corrente staccate dal muro, mobili senza pomelli, servizio navetta lentissimo (abbiamo anche atteso un’ora dalla chiamata, assurdo)...abbiamo avuto anche un problema con l’acqua, ma in compenso ci hanno offerto una pizza (buona)...colazione sufficiente (cornetti buonissimi)! In sintesi non so se tornerò più, peccato per il potenziale della struttura che regala un luogo in cui regna la pace!
