Room was clean and spacious. It suited our needs perfectly. The hotel itself appears to fairly old but still in decent shape yet. Property was clean when we visited. The beds were adequate. I've slept on worse and better. The pillows were a little lacking. The sofa bed did not appear to be used for awhile, and there were stains on the bedding for it. Water pressure was good and the hot water lasted through 5 people taking showers in our room alone. Breakfast was ok. Standard hotel fare. Stuff that looked like eggs, bland sausage, the standard issue waffle makers, etc. Would consider staying here again.

The room was in a terrible condition. Clogged sink, toilet didn’t flush easily, shower curtain too long and I stood on it, soap dispenses didn’t work, bed was saggy. I could go on. Very disappointing

I thought that the overall property was very pretty but the bathrooms were dirty, both in our room and in the lobby.

Upon arriving I was a little surprised by the age of the property. The pictures are very well done. However, the property is very well taken care of and very clean. It was also very quiet, and the water pressure was excellent! And, as an added bonus, after we got home, the front desk called to let me know that I had forgotten something in the room.

Was ignored for a few minutes while trying to check in, when there were two people at the front desk. Room was disgusting, smelled of mildew and mold. AC unit was extremely loud and dusty. Bathroom vents were filled with dust. Bathroom floors left my towels brown. No shower curtain, just decorative sheet leading to water covering the bathroom floor. The body wash/shampoo had the expiration date rubbed off in a convenient spot. No comforter or duvet, just a decorative blanket. Carpeting made socks dark, and left a sticky residue. Breakfast was not gluten free/dairy free friendly. Front door did not have a latch, and opened easy without a key if not pulled in/shut hard. Beds were extremely cheap, henceforth uncomfortable. Box springs were dirty. Fitted sheet was see through, showing the lack of protection covering the bed. Paint was missing from walls and ceiling. Walls were sticky. The promise of a 32inch TV was not met. Absolutely terrible, I’ve never had such an experience like this before. Pictures on the website are misleading, showing the best of the best rooms, which we did not get.

This is a no-frills hotel much like many other hotels in the area they are quite dated. It is simply a place to sleep and not much more than that. Breakfast was good and there was an energetic atmosphere with everyone anxious and excited to visit Mackinac Island. We were a group of seven and rented three room rooms for two nights. Although it was dated, it was clean and we felt safe in the environment. I would call this a good value for the cost. Keep in mind this is peak tourism season, and there is inflationary costs. The cost we paid would be typical for a three star hotel anywhere else not associated with tourism inflation. I would rate this a one star hotel that is safe and a simple place to rest your head. Don’t expect the site to look like the pictures. Again, I felt safe with my family and it was generally clean.

It is an older building rustic look, with that comes a lot of up keep. We had a nice room ,not fancy but it was clean and tidy. They served nice verity foods for breakfast was good.

So we came up for a birthday trip. The room was very dated and it was odd that there was no microwave in the room.. The beds were clean but the floors desperately needed to be cleaned and the bathtub did not drain. The free breakfast was ok but very limited but you can't complain for something that is free. Overall if you need a budget friendly stop in St Ignace this would definitely be worth a look.

We stayed in a lodge room and were unable to have any natural light. Our window curtains opened up into the hallway. The bed was uncomfortable which you could feel the springs. An old thin blanket was given. The shower did not drain and you were left standing in ankle deep water I would not stay again

The only complaint I have was that we were there for 5 nights and never had our room cleaned and had to go to the front desk to get them. The property was pleasant with fire pits grounds were groomed nice

3 brothers and wives and a trip to Mackinac Island. Hotel employees were friendly and helpful but the rooms were dark and dated. Bathroom was remodeled but old heater and air conditioner with rust made room appear dirty.
