The check in was incredibly slow apparently a lot of mix ups and errors earlier in the days any time you stay when a travel ball team is there it can be rough. The noise was louder later in the evening we had to be gone by 4am didn’t appreciate you could hear the noise from other rooms and in the hall and the pool was overly congested with the kids

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Nice and clean but a bit outdated

Personnel at the counter were helpful and received me with a smile. They stated that if I needed any help, to please contact them. The breakfast was good too.

We were able to walk to all the graduation events at Wilkes University

This was the cleanest place I have ever had the pleasure to stay. There was no dirt crud in the corners in the bathroom it was clean and white. The bed was very comfortable, Lots of pillows. The free breakfast was great. Usually a Continental breakfast is offered. This was a full hot breakfast. With much to choose from. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

This property is practically next door to the Kirby Center. Staff was wonderful showing us exactly how to get there. Parking was very convenient. Pricing on concessions was reasonable. We'll be back if we're in this area.

Loved my stay here! I will be back. Super clean, quiet and kind staff. Awesome breakfast! Super easy to get to bars, restaurants and stores.

Staff was great, and breakfast was okay. But the hotel was very noisy at night. Sounded like something was rolling around on the floor above our room. And road noise from the street we could here in the room.

The staff was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was so warm and welcoming, they made you feel like you were home! Everything was very clean. Breakfast was amazing! The beds are comfortable. We whole heartedly enjoyed our stay and look forward to it again!!!

Walking distance to many restaurants and The Kirby Center

Very friendly

All the staff was very friendly. When we checked in, they had a sheet with all the info needed, a map with close by eateries, and a town map.

This is an old hotel; the rooms are small, the decor is a bit outdated, and there are visible nail-pops and the door jambs are worn. It needs some TLC. However, the amenities, cleanliness, and customer service outweigh all of that! We had a very comfortable stay. The rooms were SPOTLESS (I'm a stickler for cleanliness), the staff were friendly and helpful, and there are amenities that even some high-end hotels don't have. There's even a wall of newspaper articles that explain the quaint history of the hotel. This is not a high-falutin' place, but it's a comfortable place to lay your head when you're visiting Wilkes-Barre.

Best breakfast you will ever find among hotels with a breakfast, makes up for the slow elevator and adjoining room. Excellent choice for a show at the Kirby!
