There's a little cockroach in the bedroom, and they don't clean and tidy the bed when they clean the room. They didn't refill the toilet amenities and tea/coffee in the room while I'm staying. Beside that issues, the location is nice.

Good value for money, close to tourist attractions.

For the location, it is relatively close to the MRT and buses, so the access is quite good. The staff at check-in were not very friendly even though we paid. For that price, the staff should be friendlier. The room is very compact, not small and not big either, clean with a window so you can see the outside world, the only downside is the hard bed so it is not very comfortable, the important thing is that there is a bidet, Breakfast is just B, not too special but for that price compared to other hotels, having breakfast is a plus. Most importantly, access to everywhere near Mustofa, Haji Lane, the Grand Mosque, Little India is quite close and close to halal food places and Sevel (although Sevel BKK is better hehehe). Overall, it is quite good,

As a solo traveler, I am very satisfied with this hotel. I booked a single room from 25 to 28 December 2025. The room was spacious for a single person. The bathroom was also spacious with bidet and complete amenities. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, tea, etc. were provided. TV, AC, and hotel water worked well. It was clean and the room service came everyday. The room was quiet enough and I had sound selepas during my stay. The staffs were friendly. They also served breakfast, which was very helpful. The hotel's location was strategic, near many food stalls and convenient stores. Bus stop and MRT station were quite a walk from the hotel. Room's rate was very affordable even during peak season. Overall, I recommend this hotel for backpackers who still want privacy.

The hotel staff refused to help me load my suitcase into the taxi, even though I had already asked for help. The concierge also had to put my luggage in and sign it in by himself. The room was clean, but the hotel staff were unhelpful.

The room is clean, the toilet has a bidet, the AC is cold, the bed is very soft, the room is not big but very comfortable, the bathroom is clean, towels are provided, the TV is big, the breakfast is delicious and nutritious. If I go to SG, I will come back here again.

All are okay except food that serve for breakfast doubtful especially for muslim to eat…overall are okay..but u can go for mamak just infront the hotel

J8 Hotel Singapore is strategically located near Lavender MRT Station. It's very close to Mustofa Center (only a 5-7 minute walk), Haji Lane (15 minutes), Bugis Street (18 minutes), and Orchard Road and Marlion (both MRT stations). If it's not too hot or you're out walking in the evening, you can take a walk and exercise. J8 Hotel Singapore offers a pretty good breakfast, a healthy and balanced diet. The rooms are equipped with mineral water, tea and coffee, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, and clean towels. The service is great, everyone is friendly and helpful. Since it was a late night flight, after check-out, we were able to leave our luggage and continue exploring. Oh yeah, the toilets at J8 Hotel Singapore are clean, and there's a washroom. My previous experience with hotels without washrooms was a hassle. Next time I go to Singapore, I'll stay at J8 Hotel again. Recommended.

Stay 3 days 2 nights including breakfast at a very cheap price, close to the MRT main road, very good for traveling

The distance to the bus stop is quite close, but the distance to the MRT station is a bit far. The room is quite spacious compared to other hotels, quite clean, the food is okay. The plus point is that there is breakfast and the price is reasonable.

The hotel is located about 8 minutes walk from Lavender MRT station, the room is a bit small but clean. Breakfast is okay.

The room was not prepared at check-in, which was detrimental to the guest who checked in. When entering, the room key was broken. An important thing but the officer was not careful to prepare.

The room key is broken, ask for a solution, there is none, I don't know if an officer came at 10pm to suddenly repair the door, so it's not clear, it's dangerous for the comfort of the guests

The staff is not very friendly, it turns out that the distance to get here from Lavender MRT is very far if you walk, the room to the room is a bit perfect, the room is clean.

the smell from the floor drain is so bad, like not being a rabbit to prevent odors opening the bathroom door the smell is unbearable
