I found the receptionist rather rude. He greeted me saying they didn’t have my reservation. I showed him my confirmation email and Expedia app display, but he kept saying it wasn’t in the system. When I did get a room I was asked to move to another room after I unpacked. Around 1 hour of going into the room. I asked if I could get breakfast slightly before 07:00 as I was being picked up at 07:00 for a tour, but was told no. I asked if the reception could help me get a taxi to the medina. I was told oh just go outside and you will see one. It just felt like I was being an inconvenience. Not the best experience for me.

Hotel is on a very busy road and noisy traffic all night so we couldn’t sleep. Bathroom is dark and can’t see much. Don’t go to the restaurant unless you want to wait 2 hours 😁

Didn't stay

I can’t fault this place! The price I paid for a 5 night stay was amazing and the fact it included breakfast was even better! Location wise okay maybe it’s a little far out from the medina if you want to walk it but it takes like 5 minutes in a taxi (traffic depending) I walked it when I went and it was about 40-50 mins depending on walking speed but I enjoy walking so it wasn’t any bother to me. The room was good and the bathroom was great too! The bed was a little firm for my liking but I still slept well. Overall I had a great stay and if I were to come back to Marrakesh I would 100% stay here again.

The hotel was well located and away from the busy roads - 10 minute walk from the train station. The room I had booked with a balcony was not available the first night and the one I received was small, definitely not 30 sq meters as described. The second room was much better with a view of the city and larger. Bed was confortable and shower had very hot water and lots of pressure. Breakfast was good and plentiful in the mornings. However, there was no wifi in the room as in the description. Wifi was only available in the lounge off the lobby. Also, there was loud music from the restaurant that could be heard every evening from my room till 23:00. Finally, I was overcharged for the taxes, which were supposed to be 13.3 dirhams a night as incicated in my reservation. However, they chanrge me 20 dirham a night.

The hotel was quite good, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious with lots of options. The staff was also was very friendly and nice. The only drawback was that room had very dim lights which made the room quite dark at night

Super friendly hotel. 300 yards/metres from the train station. Buses from the train station will take you to the mosque and the market. Taxis always available at the hotel. Staff are fantastic and speak several languages. At least 3 restaurants within 50 yards. Memorable visit to Marakesh.

Great stay, 300 steps or so from the train station, spacious and clean room, air con/ heating worked without issues, shower was great with very good pressure. Staff were super friendly and professional. Pool was clean, and breakfast was decent. Would come back again insha'Allah.

The Front Desk service was average. They were not very keen at assisting. The rooms are basic but fine although our room was not serviced during our stay (5 days). The safe was not working and there were no attempt to fix it by the property. The breakfast is ok, but no fresh food available (fruits). The spa was good, great service and friendly. If you are looking for a basic hotel, with a pool, walking distance to many places this is a good choice. We were charged the stay taxes in Euro ($4 Euros per day) by the hotel although Expedia quoted it in Australian dollars (AUD $20), therefore, cost was much higher due to the exchange rate.

We had a problem in our first room with the shower, they eventually fixed it then it broke again and they fixed it again. The air con box was on the balcony, which blew hot air and when its 30+ degrees out side it was a no no plus it would be dangerous for little fingers. We were moved to another room after 2 days, air con didnt work properly till day before we left, tv didnt work, handle on shower broke and frame on door coming off, again dangerous to little handles. Had electric shock of the one lamp and the other was like a disco. Everything was reported to reception

Room was pretty basic but staff was friendly and helpful.

Could not get the AC to work

Nice historic property. Good value for money. Rooms bit dated and not sound proof. Great breakfast but cold - fortunately had a toaster / microwave to heat - technically a buffet but has restrictions - the guy adjacent to me was pretty upset when he was refused a second one egg omellette. Which I found was a bit picky on the part of the hotel particularly when they offer a buffet. The omellete was set up and even offered later in the breakfast period with some missing it.

Amazing hotel!! In the hotel you have a restaurant + pool, it was super nice! Be aware the hotel offer no currency conversion and you will have to pay a city tax.
