I really liked my room, it was peaceful. I liked the owner and most of the staff. They served an excellent breakfast and i felt very safe as a solo traveller. The view of the sea from the restaurant was lovely as was being so close to the water. The hotel is very pretty and cosy, i liked living there for three weeks.
I did not love the area because it did not have any places like cafes to walk to but i enjoyed taking the bus which comes right to the hotel to the forum mall. :)
So you don't need a car. If you have a car it's the perfect place to stay. There is a dolmus which is the local bus that stops right in front of the hotel so it is convenient but i like to walk around either to cafes or shoppes and it's roadside so there aren't any. .
There is a small beach close by which is nice. It's down a steep hill. I really liked the little cafe at the hotel which served great desserts and specialties and as i said the breakfast was superb. A wonderful thing about this hotel is that some of the St aff speaks english and that's hard to find in trabzon. I really enjoyed my stay, the staff is so nice:)
