A nice enough place near the Gullfoss water falls. Like everything in Iceland, on the expensive side.Breakfast is included though. We had dinner at their restaurant as well , which was quite good. I would recommend the lamb.

Tv didn’t work had to move rooms…not what you want to do after a long day. Did was good- place wasn’t for us. Rooms were cheesy…beds were not good!

Lovely hotel - doesn't look that impressive from the approach road, but lovely inside - the dining room is particularly nice with large windows looking over the valley. Excellent location as very close to Gullfoss - around 5 minutes drive. Staff were lovely at reception and in the restaurant. Food - both dinner and breakfast - were very good, with a good selection at breakfast. Room was nice - twin beds as requested, clean and warm and with a nice view over the valley. I stupidly left my Kindle behind and have since been liaising with the hotel who are going to mail it back to me - very kind! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great hospitality

The staff was really nice. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfasr buffet was really good. I really liked the service they offer, if you would like to see the northern lights, the staff will go knock on your door to let you know so you go outiside. That is a plus I did not get on any other hotel I stayed during my trip in Iceland.

Clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Nice view. Good food at restaurant. Close to waterfall and geysir. Got northern lights wake up and it was stunning!

Amazing choice for 1st night in Iceland. We were instantly welcomed. Simply walked outside for Northern Lights! Near other attractions too. Breakfast was the best of our whole trip. Thank you!

Great little hotel. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They even provide a wake up service if the northern lights show up during the night. Food a little expensive but quality is good. Would stay here again.

Phenomenal location. Breathtaking views and 4-minute drive to Gullfoss. Spectacular northern lights viewing. Yummy breakfast. No water filling station. Surprised to find a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room! Very old school locks — just keep turning when you think you’ve turned it all the way.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. It was close to the falls and the other attrations we went to. driveway was not paved but that was not a big concern for me.

Driveway to the hotel was not paved and had no lighting in the parking lot. Understandably, did not want to cause light pollution since northern lights are visible from the area. Close to Geysir and Gullfoss waterfalls. Very limited restaurants in the area. Rooms were nice and clean.

We loved this hotel and staff. It is a neat, clean and comfortable hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is nothing around it, so it's perfect for Aurora watching. It's close to Geyser and Gullfoss falls, among other attractions with further driving. They served excellent food for dinner and breakfast. It's a good idea to reserve dinner during your stay. As with most hotels in Iceland, they do not have shampoo, top sheets or washcloths. They do provide a combination shower gel/shampoo. We'd definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

Property was lovely. Food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffet offerings were plentiful. There was careful attention and accommodation for our two gluten free family members within the restaurant. The gf rolls were outstanding! Appreciated that the front desk staff knocked on our door to let us know when the northern lights were visible.

Workers are very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and warm. The location is excellent. It's 5 minutes from Gullfoss. The restaurant is excellent as well but it's a bit pricy. The shower gell dispenser doesn't work but otherwise, everything is great.

Perfect

This is one of my favorite stops on our journey. The view of the aurora in the night sky was spectacular. The restaurant food was so fresh and being gluten and dairy free I was in heaven with the fact that they accommodated my dietary needs .
