We stayed over the Christmas period and had a balcony room. This was the most magical experience. Laying in bed listening to the carols, bells, people laughing. The view was amazing. The property is old as most building in Europe but all amenities were great. Couldn’t fault besides from limited access to taxis and no Ubers in the area. Roads also get closed during Christmas market periods. Plan ahead and don’t make the mistake like us as we almost missed our train due to not having car transportation close by. Plenty of tram options if you can navigate and shopping centre across the street!

Poor hotel We paid for a suite. 2 very large rooms. Almost no furniture . 2 giant empty rooms The bedroom has no furniture - no chairs nothing to put clothes on. The other room has a leather/ plastic couch from the 1950’s TV wasn’t connected and had no signal. Heating didn’t work and they had to re-program the system. Breakfast not included and they kept trying to sell us breakfast. Check in time was 3pm and they made us wait. We came back at 2:50’and were told to wait 10 minutes.

The hotel was the perfect location for viewing the Christmas market. It’s literally right outside the front door. The room was quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I was travelling with a friend - we booked a family room so that we each had a bed. Unfortunately there was no door to the shower.. which seems odd for a family room! What if we were a family travelling with teenagers? The beds were also not very comfortable. The staff at the desk were super nice, and great location.

Right on the plaza for Dresden Christmas market. Courteous staff. Not exactly wheelchair or disable friendly building, but I can see where they have made changes to make it so. Good breakfast. Discounted parking for the garage. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Location was perfect . The rooms design was strange a room with 2 queen beds but the shower didn't had a door , so if you are not really close family or friends it is not nice to have a open shower. also the cushions were not comfortable

Considering the hotel restaurant didn't offer room service, it was a bit frustrating that there weren't any convenience stores nearby to buy snacks or wine.

Hotel in the middle of this city. This is the main reason I have chosen to stay. Clean, city view from my window. BUT I don't have towels in the room. Not, even one. Big question. There's no phone to call front desk. I was so tired that took a shower and put on my pajama on a wet body😂
