My boyfriend and I came here for the first time for a little getaway for his birthday and we had such a lovely time. Everything was perfect! Spa, the private beach area & Datillo’s restaurant is top tier. Thank you Water Edge for a fantastic stay! We will be back again!

I love this place. Next time I wish I could have a better view. I went there before the new rooms were added. Every time I went there, I stayed in the main building right upstairs from the check-in facing the water with my husband and I absolutely loved it. I was actually married there in the old ballroom. I was put in a room that I faced the side of the building and parking lot. I like it there because you can have your meals there if you want they should put a microwave in the rooms. I grew up there on the shore when I was a kid so it is a very pretty place. I think it’s understaffed. I saw the same woman there almost 3 shifts in a row. I think she was a manager. She was delivering drinks, which I thought was crazy and then I saw her the next morning at breakfast time being the hostess, I said to her, don’t you ever get a day off she said thank you for noticing. She was a very pleasant, nice woman, but I think it’s understaffed. I stayed there during the wrong time of year. It was spring break. Children were running up and down the hallway, which was not appropriate And they were with a parent. That’s what really got me - back in the day when I was a parent of young children, I would never let my children run up and down the hallways but times are different now -not for the better!!!

Spa was fantastic, rooms are nothing extravagant but clean and well maintained. Everyone was polite, great stay

Quick impromptu perfect get away the night before Easter. I've stayed here before in the main building, and wasn't a huge fan..... Staying in the building on the LI sound was spectacular! It was beautiful, updated, and had all the luxury comforts of home. Full size kitchen, washer and dryer, wine fridge, gas stove, microwave, & fireplace. I loved falling asleep while listening to the waves hitting the shoreline at night, & the bed was extremely comfortable! My daughter met me with my grandchildren, and the hotel staff brought a crib to the room. Even the crib was beautiful!!! Dinner at the hotel was outstanding, the surf and turf came out perfect....Waters Edge exceeded my every expectation this trip, I'm so glad I decided to come!

Accesibility for those with walking difficulties not great - room was a distance from check in and parking. Otherwise all good.

The property was well maintained. The room was very old and dated. The shower room in the spa, the ceiling paint were peeling and the sprinkle was rusted.

Really nice hotel with gorgeous ocean views and direct beach access. Plenty of food options and shopping near bye.

Service at both the bar and restaurant wasn’t great , food and drinks were just ok

Thus was our 1st time staying overnight. We enjoyed our experience overall. Only issue was the quality of my dinner was only ok. I ordered the Bucatini Frutti Di Mare. The taste was very bland. I found myself enjoying the rolls with butter the most. I wasn't able to enjoy all the amenities unfortunately but the time didn't allow it.

It was a lovely one night stay with a friend. The room was beautiful, the hotel was stunning, and the check in was great. Lots of recommendations for good places to go. Very pleasant experience!

Everything was excellent, especially the beach and walking areas. The only downside was that the walls were thin so if the adjacent rooms are full you can hear everything going on next door. Other than that, very happy with everything.

This is the cleanest resort we've ever seen. The staff was wonderful. The food was delicious.
