We stayed for 4 nights in June. The hotel is close to many shops and restaurants, and conveniently located above a small grocery store and delicious boulangerie! We unfortunately missed our room cleaning twice due to it being so late in the day. The room was equipped with a kettle and some tea, with coffee and soft drinks available for purchase at the front desk (along with additional glassware), and a mini fridge that did not get very cold. For a few nights, this hotel was just what we needed to enjoy our visit to Lyon. We appreciated how accommodating the staff were - they made our stay feel comfortable and welcoming!

Great location for exploring beautiful Lyon. I did find our initial arrival into the hotel a bit awkward. The hotel itself is located inside an apartment building so you have to communicate through a buzzer system, then heavy doors and lastly into a very small elevator or two flights of stairs. Not easy with luggage. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the room was certainly a good size. I did not realize there was no air conditioning and upon arrival the room was very warm. They do provide a stand up fan to cool off the room . The bed was comfortable although the pillow was not. Only body gel available in shower to be used on hair as well. Overall, this hotel was good for our one night stay but I would be hesitant to book it for a longer period.

Cozy, old hotel. Beautiful building. Rooms are quite small and there’s nowhere to put anything except a few hangers on one shelf. But it’s a great value and a great location. The staff is kind. there’s breakfast.

This 1920s building has retained many original features. My single room had a fireplace but blocked w painted board and not like in picture. The decor is too my liking very eclectic and bathroom is modern. Shower good stream and hot ! The manager and front receptionist Amber were outstanding with fixing sink default and gracious in providing me a free breakfast. Both always friendly happy easy to talk to with great English. Close to tram metro bakeries groceries Wifi could be better as only 1-2 bars strength Loved elevator which is for 2 people and stairs old curved marble were easy w backpack and my being 74 💕. Breakfast = biggest croissant baquette cheese yogurt jams espresso served to you in delightful sunny room.

This is the perfect little boutique hotel when visiting this city. First is the location. Situated in and between the two rivers, you are at the exact perfect spot to begin your walking adventures. Old town and the funicular are an easy walk. Plenty of relaxing locations along the rivers and of course tons of caffès and restaurants in every direction. The hotel itself is on the 2nd floor and there is an elevator if you need. The rooms are tiny but clean and modern. The front desk workers are the best you will find anywhere. Extremely polite and helpful. You get an old school key. There is a morning breakfast and be sure to sign up for it the night before.

Decor and refurbishment of old room was haphazard and a jumble of mismatched items. Room functioned, just not aesthetically pleasing.

The hotel proudly advertises it is a 2 star hotel and I would agree. There were limited amenities and the room I stayed in was fairly small with a bed that moved about a little fairly easily and pillows could use some improvement as they're very small. However, it was exactly what I wanted, clean bed and room, great location walking distance from almost all of the attractions in the area and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Rooms very nice. While the room itself was classic European, the bathroom was very upscale and new. Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Location in old town, on one floor of a residential apartment building, we walked a bit to restaurants. Be aware there are three steps up to the one person elevator and managing luggage is awkward. I am 70 and did fine.

A beautiful hotel with so much history. The rooms are renovated but still have so much of the original feel. Shower is great. The owner is so lovely and took the time to be so welcoming and help us figure out the city. The outdoor door is the only challenge. We should have asked for two keys.
