My kids love to swim in the pool of the hotel.

David and Alyssa, at the front desk, were amazing. So helpful and courteous. Our room was very clean. I was impressed that the mattresses all had encasements as well. It's surprising how many "name brand" hotels still don't do this.

We love the hotel, and staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice overall, very clean and modern. The overnight staff seemed to be too busy to say hello or good evening. A little concerned by the police incident that happened on my floor for an entire day. Also was not impressed with the notice that there would be no hot water from 8 AM to 6 PM and there was no compensation offered for that. The housekeeping team were good and kept the room, clean and offered towel service, etc. upon request. I would stay here again if I was in the area as the restaurants downstairs were very helpful to have.

The hotel is nice, rooms are clean and comfortable and staff at the front desk were pleasant and efficient. Rooms had fridges and a coffee station and everything worked. The pool was a bit disappointing this time - we took the last towel, leaving those who came in after us, towel-less. The pool was a little chilly and the hot tub was only lukewarm. It also needed a clean. This was unlike our last stay, when the pool was much warmer, the hot tub definitely over 100 degrees F, and both were scrupulously clean.

Good value for what you get

Could not sleep because the Ac sounded like a mechanical room, in turn, we couldn’t turn it on and we’re extremely hot the whole night and couldn’t sleep.

Everything great

We can always count on the Sandman when we visit Oakville.

Amenities were not upto the mark

This location is not as nice as the sandman Hamilton or sandman Ottawa, the bathrooms are pretty basic, there is no rain shower like the other sandman’s. And we were only given the little shampoo and conditioner bottles, we’re used to the other sandman’s that had full bottles attached to the wall. Also the bathroom floor was obviously not clean as we saw brown smudges on the tile

Considering its age, the hotel hasn’t worn well although our stay was fine. Staff was friendly and rooms were comfortable.

Great value. Only complaint was noise but that was more the fault of other guests than the property.

Great choice for last minute options.

My air conditioning didn’t work properly and then asked for help in the morning and no one came and asked again that evening but at least he was able to help. Some stuff was dated look wise but overall it was a good stay.

All was good with the room. However, the air conditioner made a loud sound and we found it difficult to sleep. We did turn down the system which helped a bit. Thought we should have received a discount for the aggravating sound. We did not complain to the staff as we were only there for a few nights, were out most of the day, and we did not want to uproot and move rooms. Otherwise, the staff were great, the restaurants on the premises were great and the overall experience, except for the air conditioning in the evening, was very good. Thank you.

Bathroom not cleaned well, stains on floor, toilet paper holder kept loosing the roll, Drain in tub was black with dirt, Ripped bed linens, Stain on pillow and dirty stained furniture. I took pictures and showed them to the front desk. The noise at night was disturbing.
