If you have to have a full kitchen while you travel and nothing else it’s important, this is a good place for you. 2 out of 5 is generous when 1 out of 5 facilities/staff work well.

No ofrecen al menos jabón y shampoo para bañarse, sin contar que las toallas son muy pequeñas. El desayuno está bastante decente

I took the BART from the airport to the hostel, arriving at about 8am, after a 14-hour flight. The staff organised for an early check in at noon. They were friendly and helpful. Received good advice on how to get to a Giant's game and book tickets - my ticket was $19 and the guy next to me paid $120 - all due to OVH staff. Great breakfast and good company. Well done.

Give you one flat sheet and one tiny hand towel. I did ask for a second sheet and got one that had blood stains on it. Kitchen is way too cramped to accommodate the breakfast. Floors are disintegrating. Tiniest bathroom in the room. No soap, no shampoo.

I love to stay here when I’m in the bay for work. The staff is amazing and friendly. The housekeeping staff is great, they were prompt in fixing a broken light. Orange Village is my SF home!

The people were nice and they served breakfast daily. The area outside the hotel has a fair amount of stragglers is what it seemed like inside, things are good. It's a older building, but they do a good job of cleaning And keeping the facilities in good shape. Breakfast consists of toasts, waffles, coffee, yogurt, and a few choices of cereal. I picked the waffles and the eggs. Overall, this is a perfect place if you want to spend a good amount of time outside, with pretty decent accommodations. But I wouldn't say you would just be camping out in the room. You could, but why would you.

Located in a somewhat sketchy part of the city, Orange Village Hostel offers surprisingly convenient access to dining and shops within walking distance. This proximity compensates for the neighborhood's character. Service: Staff friendliness varies greatly. Some are welcoming and helpful, while others appear indifferent. Accommodation: Rooms are clean but showing their age. The beds are unfortunately uncomfortable, leading to some post-stay back pain. Noise levels at night can be significant, reminiscent of a bustling GTA game (IYKYK) Amenities: I skipped breakfast here and opted for a nearby diner, so I can't comment on its quality. I also didn't participate in any of their weekly events. Overall: If budget is your primary concern, Orange Village Hostel is an option. However, be prepared for a mixed bag of experiences and consider splurging a bit more for a more comfortable stay next time. Got what I paid for. The pictures on hotels.com aren’t recent so there is obvious where and tear but the staff is friendly and professional. Despite the on going hotel strike across the street and endless disruptive noise, best stay I have ever had.
