お庭に自然が溢れていて良い雰囲気だが、蚊が入ってくるため窓を開けられない。 四人部屋のダブルベッドが屋根裏にあり、エアコン、扇風機といった空調がないので、猛暑の中では暑すぎた。

We live in the region, so had decided to book ourselves a last minute overnight treat. We know this hotel - it's always been classy and romantic. We've eaten at the restaurant many times. It's always been fabulous - and we weren't disappointed. There are still the familiar faces delivering a brilliant service that creates a great atmosphere. We were lucky with the weather, and had the pool to ourselves. It was difficult to know which room we were going to get - which was a shame, because we would have been happy to pay more for for a room overlooking the garden rather than the road. However, we spent most of the time out of the room, and the double glazing is fantastic and you barely hear a sound. The room was small but very nice, with a great shower. We have already booked our next visit.

Beautiful old worlde property with lovely grounds and great location. It would have benefitted from water, tea & coffee in the room.

A lovely old quirky house with a good restaurant. We felt it was a little expensive. We had evening meal, excellent, then bed and breakfast. The total bill was 228 euros, which is more than we usually pay. However it is unique and made a change for us. I’m sure we would enjoy it more if we returned in better weather. The staff were friendly, especially Lucille.

Lovely hotel very chabby chic, we were moved to an upgraded room which was very spacious. Beautiful pool and garden, great games room in the attic. Restaurant lovely setting but food not as good. What ruins it though is the really busy road just outside, heavy traffic all day and night, impossible to sleep.

Booked this hotel after reading a review and recommendation in The Times. Did not disappoint - The building is picture postcard perfect, so you immediately feel you're in a special place. The grounds are massive, so ample space for kids to roam about amongst orchards and explore. The pool is above average in length, and the perfect temperature when it's hot. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The building itself feels like a museum inside, old & new parts merged. Our family room was a two-story suite; loads of space for us all. Unfortunately the cooler didn't work properly at the time we stayed, so we found it incredibly hot at night (during a heatwave), however the rest of the building indoors was cool and lovely so I guess we were just unlucky. The Orangeries restaurant looked amazing; we didn't eat there purely because our kids aren't adventurous eaters and so we didn't want to spoil the experience for ourselves - hubby and I will have to return on our own to savour the menu. Breakfast was pleasant and simple - good coffee, pastries, bread, yoghurt, fruit & eggs; our gluten intolerant daughter struggled a little, however appreciated the 'make your own hot chocolate' in compensation. Overall, we had a fabulous time at Orangeries, left feeling relaxed and like we had experienced a little bit of luxury in a part of France we wouldn't have stumbled upon otherwise.

Beautiful old hotel with gorgeous grounds and a secret path to a tranquil and beautiful spot on the river. Basic room but clean and comfortable, albeit better black out curtains to block road light would be a good addition. Very beautiful old but very nice hotel with an excellent slightly pricey French breakfast. The staff was fantastic. Better English than mine. The town itself is nothing to write home about, and the hotel unfortunately abuts a busy road but they have largely blocked road noise and this nevertheless was a very enjoyable place to stay.

We traveled to france to see a property we wanted to purchase and found this hotel on trivago it claims it has internet in every room but unfortunately there was no Internet in our rooms, also the down side was no shower curtain so everything got drenched when showering, no information in any of our 2 rooms, no room bar or tea and coffee facilities. The night we stayed their was a limited menu of 1 starter 1 main and 1 dessert. the electric gate to get in is a good idea but on exit it should open automatically. Also the front door you had to ring every time you went out, Breakfast was ok but bread was dry and didn't have a lot of orange juice. This was an overnight stop on a journey across France chosen because it was on our route but it turned out to be full of charm. We were upgraded to a room in the main house of the rather rambling set of buildings. Highly efficient double glazing kept out the traffic noise. The staff could not have been more helpful. The highspot was the restaurant in a large covered courtyard which serves delectable sustainable food from the region.
