Nice room, fresh and clean, great bathroom with accessibility, good wifi, decent breakfast, less than 10 mins walk from a tram station, friendly staff. The hotel has a lovely garden where breakfast was served and made for a peaceful pleasant start to each day. We were very pleased we chose this accomodation as it lived up to its ratings here and elsewhere, and would gladly stay again.

Beautiful property, the service was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. It was about a 20 minute walk to the main town area which was perfect for us and made the hotel quiet at night. There is also a tram stop a minute away but we chose to walk everywhere. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

This Boutique Hotel is for you if you think you would enjoy the feeling of staying at a wealthy friends villa just outside the busy beachside area of Nice! I don't know if Son the man who greeted us at the front desk was the owner but you certainly can tell he loves the property like it was his own. He was an amazing host and gave amazing directions, hand written by him on a walking map after he asked us what we would like to do on our stay. No person at any of the other hotel we stayed in on our trip through France, Italy and Switzerland did this. That is how much Hotel Villa Rose wants you to enjoy your stay! The property is amazing. It has a patio garden with seats and tables to relax at and also eat breakfast at. The room decor was very nice and comfortable. You feel like you are in someone's home and the key is a skeleton key from the days of long ago. We were able to walk everywhere 20 to 40 minutes to get where we wanted but there is a city train/tram that runs you back and forth to the tourist/beach area of Nice running very regularly. We loved this place. It was perfect for what we wanted and it lives up to everything the website explains it to be. Feel comfortable making this reservation. You do have to contact the front desk before 9pm if you are checking in late after that. This is more a home than a hotel. Enjoy!

Son, the concierge was amazing. So helpful with everything we asked him. He went above and beyond to offer advice on visiting nearby villages and with restaurants.

This is a beautiful old mansion that has been transformed into a small hotel. For the price it is a very nice place to stay in Nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The hotel room was very large and comfortable. The best part were the owners who could not have been more helpful providing any assistance that is needed. What we didn’t like was the very small bathroom which got very wet after a shower

The hotel is fabulous in its charm and function, but its hosts put it over the top for me. A first-time visitor who doesn’t speak French, they provided perfect directions for a train and street system that might take a little practice to get down. They also gave excellent advice on food and entertainment, as well as provided prompt laundry service. Great place if you’re in Nice.

Stayed a single night at Hotel Villa Rose. As prices in Nice go this was fair. The greeting from Pierre at reception was warm and informative. I was a solo traveller and although the room was very small it was adequate. There are plenty of choices of places to eat in the vicinity and, best of all, the tram stop is only a few minutes walk. The breakfast costs €12 and, while limited, was adequate. The best part is that it is served in a delightful garden at the front of the property - an oasis of calm in the middle of a bustling tourist city. One very simple addition the proprietors could make is to place a bottle of water in the room. Nice is hot in July.

The location of this property is up the hill from the town but easily accessible by transit. The hotel is quiet and impeccably decorates. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is offered for an additional charge. You can go in and out as you wish . They give you a pass code. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived to the hotel at 11:40 pm. The gate was closed! We kept ringing and called all the cellphone numbers of Villa Rose. Nobody answered! Then some tenants heard us and opened us the gate. But the reception door was locked. There were 2 cell phone number of the door of the reception. We kept calling and noone answered. We found our self in the middle of the night with the language on the street! The guests of the hotel were trying to help but couldn't! We left Nice the day after. The Villa Rose people didn't even try to contact us and apologize. We insist in having our payment back immediately!

Room is clean, parking is 15 euros and only limited to 3 cars, you park back to back and you are stuck if someone parks behind you, very difficult to park outside. Also you need to reserve the parking and the breakfast.
