A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. However i would recommend the larger rooms as the standard rooms are very small and for me a little sub standard. Once we changed rooms we were extremely happy. Great breakfast and nice roof top pool and bar. Just a pity the roof top bar isn't open in the evenings

We enjoyed our staff there. Breakfast was great. Rooms were comfortable. Hotel situated near beach, shops and restaurants.

Staying for one night to visit the area...hotel is very well located and very quiet..the rooms are a good size and clean. The breakfast was good.. Beds are comfy and bedding is clean and cozy.

The front desk staff was amazing. Very helpful in every respect.

Clean room only smells like cigarettes,hallways are dirty, everything looks like from 1980 Wouldn’t stay there again.

This hotel is excellent value for money. While the rooms were on the small size, they were scrupuously clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were very good, with a plentiful supply of fresh fruit, breads, eggs, bacon etc.The hotel is well situated with plenty of shops, restaurants andcafes nearby.

I like everything and have nothing to complain about except parking which there was only 4 spots for the whole building which in other words we had none and had to park down a few street for the few days.

It was extremely close to the beach. It is a basic hotel but it is very well presented - albeit a tad tired and worn - and the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfasts were fine. The pool was great as it was not very busy up there. On our last day the staff were very accommodating about our bags as we had to check out at midday and our driver was not coming until 5.30 p.m. We were able to use the pool and the shower area afterwards. We were made very welcome and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. As I said it is basic but clean and we had adequate space in our room. I would have liked a coffee machine in there but the air conditioning was also free. It was ideal for myself and my teenage daughter. Again - I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Basic facilities in hotel while updating being carried out but well located.

Rooms need to be renovated since everything is very old and some things are not in a good condition , more than 1 night can be depressing Wi-fi connection was bad

This hotel is minutes away from the main beach and in the middle of many restaurants, bars and patisseries hence an easy task to find somewhere to have food morning to the evening. A great value for money. The receptionist was very nice, and even though we arrived that late in the night, she quickly checked us in and gave the room. Although plain and simple in decoration, it was very clean and comfortable, and most important, extremely quiet at night. We really needed a good rest to continue driving the following morning towards Spain and beyond. Breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day. It was definitely a good choice to stay here for the night, and for someone staying longer specially during the summer months I am sure will also be a good place. They have a rooftop pool that looked great!

Monte Gordo Town, bars, restaurants and cafes shops, hotel and beach facilities, are all a bit old, worn, dusty, beige, and in need of some TLC and cleaning, lots of doggy do's and therefore flies. Having said that, nothing was terrible, it is and was all a bit adequate nothing more or less, and most of it is budget friendly. Would we go back again? maybe. Would we recommend? yes but with the above proviso. Nice as an adults resort as there is nothing much there for childlings, so mostly they don't go there..

Nous avons réservé 2 nuits en demi-pension dans l'hôtel Baïa de Monté Gordo. Une rénovation de l'ensemble en ferait un 3 étoiles! mais le confort était là et tout était très bien, y compris le buffet et le petit déjeuner. Donc satisfaction!!!
