We had the penthouse which had a beautiful view of the ocean. Loved having the comfort of an apartment with the convenience of a hotel. Staff were very nice and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We recommended it to people we met that were not staying at the hotel. We especially loved the fish and the "live cooking" pasta. The only negative was that there were not a lot of pool chairs so they filled up quickly but that makes sense for the size of the hotel. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

The hotel was ok. The service in the restaurant and overall had a lot to desire. The price we payed definitely did NOT much the service provided. The breakfast was very limited in options and whatever you ordered extra (even if it was literally a slice of avocado) they made us pay extra. Didn’t know what to expect but definitely disappointing

Beautiful pool. Room was clean and bathroom was spacious. Restaurant menu was healthy options and nice cocktails. Service was sometimes slow but overall the experience was good

Tropical Suits has bed bugs, and the staff did nothing to resolve the problem. They repeatedly told us that they spray Lysol. What a joke! 200.00 a night for nothing.

BEWARE: BED BUGS!! Me and both my daughters woke up every morning at this hotel with new, itchy bites on their bodies each day, which is highly concerning and consistent with bed bugs rather than simple “sand flies from outside.” Each night I went to sleep I awoke up with more bites, and the pattern continued throughout my stay, clearly indicating something in the room even after they changed the sheets. I reported this to the hotel, but they repeatedly dismissed it as sand flies and did nothing meaningful to help. There was no room change offered, no professional inspection, no proactive treatment, and NO genuine concern for my comfort or health. I felt completely unsupported while still getting new bites. As you can imagine, these bites are extremely itchy and I have counted over 40 on just myself! For a hotel, this level of inaction is unacceptable. Guests deserve a safe, clean room and to be taken seriously when they report a potential infestation. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone, and strongly urge management to take this issue seriously and bring in a proper pest inspection and treatment before more guests go through this. The only solution we were offered was Lysol. Unfortunately, bed bugs are in the mattress and headboard, so this did nothing to help avoid additional bites.

Very clean room. Staff are super accommodating, polite and friendly. It is a bit pricey for the room We ate elsewhere as it is expensive to eat and drink here. Toilet seat needs attention. Our coffee maker sometimes worked and sometimes did not. We had an ocean view. Nice pool area.

The staff was nice, rooms were clean, but it smelled like mildew.

The front desk staff (particularly Lacey) were so kind and helpful. The pool area is really nice in concept but practicality isn’t there. There were only 6 or 8 lounge chairs and a couch set, there is not enough room for people to actually use it. Because of the lack of seating we only used the pool twice(for maybe 2 hours each time) our whole stay. Booking tours thru them is very convenient, but they charge the amount plus take where if you book at one of the information centers it’s just a flat rate.

Great location , kind staff , great restaurant . However our rooms were on a noisy street, in front of a bar , loud at night .

Room #3 was quite big but had issues. The road was very noisy as was the elevator noise every time it was used. The shower head was wacky which made it very hard to get a shower besides having no hot water. The positive side was the breakfast was good but you have to pay for a side of toast! Would not recommend for the price paid. We had friends who stayed on the 2nd floor which they liked better. It is close to the center of town. We did take a tour they offered to Starfish Beach which we liked very much.

There was an issue with the room because of heavy rains and nothing under the hotels control, but the way the team handled everything was truly outstanding. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to make things right. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of, which made all the difference. Despite the hiccup, I left with a very positive impression and would happily stay here again. The hotel is in a great location and the beach club is really nice! We even saw dolphins in the sea when sitting at the pool's bar which was insane.

Very professional staff and very well organized

The staff and food of the resturant of this place totally made this hotel. It is such a charming place. I would stay there again without any hesitation.

I love this property. The only thing I wish I could choose more than ocean view or town side. This room was on top of the restaurant so I could barely see the sea. I would have chosen a higher floor if I could have for a better view.

This was my 2nd time to stay at Tropical Suites. The rooms are big and clean, food is very good, only hotel with a pool. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Tropical Suites, if you will be in Bocas.

Lovely stay for my family. Great food and hospitality.
