Pool was really hot cause of the sun outside but was great but should have more staff there because when I was on the patio I looked down on it and there was a couple who looked like they were doing things they shouldn’t in a pool but other than that rooms were always cleaned and patio area had a great view, great reception staff, and the breakfast staff are the best in my opinion overall great hotel to stay at and will keep using it whenever I go back into town

Holiday Inn Express Pachuca by IHG is a solid hotel overall. The property is clean, and the staff is attentive and courteous. Onsite parking is available, which is very convenient for guests arriving by car. There are a few details that could be improved. The ice machine works, but it has an “out of order” sign on it. When I mentioned this at the front desk, I was told the sign is meant to keep children away, but in practice it discourages all guests from using it. Another small but noticeable issue is that the envelopes used for the room key cards are reused many times, to the point that they look quite worn. My running joke was that the hotel seems to have an emotional attachment to a piece of paper. Guests are also provided with only one key card, and there is a charge if it is lost. Overall, it is a good and reliable option, but a bit more attention to these details would improve the guest experience.

The staffs are very friendly and provided great service. The only issue we had, we had a bed sheet with yellow stains, even though the sheets were washed but do not find it comfortable sleeping on a sheet with yellow stains. But the front desk was very nice and gave us a clean sheet to put on top of it since it was very late at night and there were no cleaning crew. I believe the management should tell the cleaning crew not to use sheets or towels with stains, just toss them out. They also need to improve the breakfast.

This is a very nice hotel in Pachuca, close to shopping and restaurants.

Bed and pillows were so comfy! The room was nice and big!

i booked a king size bed by mistake and paid for the room in advance, then booked a double bed to replace the king size bedroom but hotel would not honor the cancelation of the king size bedroom even though i booked a double bedroom instead. hotel made me pay for both rooms, do not pay for any hotel in advance, the cancelation policy is different than when you pay at the hotel.
