Walk up and I was on the 4th floor, no AC, no outlets near the bed with only one outlet in the room. Not what I expected.

Simple but clean and in walking distance to all. Staff friendly and nice.

Room is big enough as is bathroom. It’s clean Kettle,tea,coffee,milk provided. It’s a bit noisy from extractor fans out the back or street noise at the front - but it is triple glazed… You are paying for the location. Hotel is on George St. where the park and ride buses stop, opposite the Theatre

All you need for a business travel

Clean room, polite and helpful staff. The option to leave luggage on the day of departure. A few things were not quite right in the rooms but we weren't paying to dollar, so we thought it was good value overall. Just got to be ok with lots of steps. Also definitely no breakfast available. Wetherspoons close by though.

Bed was very hard, pillows were non existent and loud street noise all night

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Excellent location. Quiet at night. A little loud in the morning If anyone is passing by but it wasn’t a big deal. Small hotel. I’d stay again.

Clean comfortable but tiny room, all ok.

For a budget hotel it was perfectly adequate. Bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful. No noise issues despite being a city centre location. Cleanliness was fine. City centre location is excellent. Park and ride bus stops were right outside. We were there for the theatre which was just opposite. Most convenient. Would stay again

Not up to the standard you would expect, pretty grotty on the whole. Good price but definitely a 'get what you pay for' kind of place

booked George Oxford hotel by accident instead of the George street hotel and they are meters apart from each other. the George Oxford hotel phoned me 10 mins before check in to say my room isn't ready but as it was raining I thought I would head there and wait. reception barley had room for 2 people to stand then had to walk up another six flights of stairs to get to my room. tiny shower in room if you turned you knocked tap from hot to cold and a sink with no plug. only plus side really was central location.

Mould around base of shower tray. Carpet not clean

Friendly staff. Drab and spartan property. Everything worked, but looks 40 years older than in photos.

Good for the price

Stayed here for one night and found the hotel to be excellent value. Rooms are basic but very clean. Check in was very quick and staff are friendly. Location is superb
