Great facilities, really

Perfect- but for fire alarms

Everything was excellent! All of the staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and attentive. We used the bar, restaurant, reception, and spa. We stayed in two rooms both were very nice rooms and very clean and comfortable. The bar was very cosy with a fabulous log fire and the service was excellent. The food was very good in the bar and the restaurant. The pool and facilities were very clean and warm. All in all a wonderful stay. Will definitely recommend and return.

Lovely room and nice spa

Property was fantastic - large, clean with lovely showers and the local pub 5 star! Hot tub wasnt working for the 1st night of our 3 night stay which was disappointing but was fixed for 2nd day.

A lovely hotel in peaceful surrounds. Room was comfortable and well appointed, however had quite poor noise insulation from other rooms and the corridor. Spa was relaxing and modern. Breakfast very tasty with a good range of options.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, excellent food & great room

We arrived at 4.15pm to find our room wasn’t ready so they changed it to a room that was made up. At 7.00am when we wanted to go to the swimming pool we realised we only had 1 robe and no slippers. Then when I went for a shower we found we only had 1 bath towel and I hand towel. Also it would have been nice to have been told that going to the spa involved a walk outside. The shower gel in our room was empty.

Great hotel, loved the room, bar & restaurant. The spa was a treat. Really appreciated the birthday card & chocolates in the room for my partner’s birthday.

Family birthday wkend away we had 2 lodges one with a hot tub we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay lovely place to stay the spa facilities were wonderful and good in the restaurant was superb

the spa didn't live up to what i expected ...and was very noisy in the room above ours

Room eas great as were the staff. The food was amongst the best i have had in any hotel, truly excelent.
