Great service and the room was exceptionally clean and a spectacular view

Every thing was great

I was only here for business so didn't get the opportunity to enjoy what the Sands Resort offers but it was clear, well presented, plenty of parking and communication was excellent.

Parking spot right outside or could use garage if you wish

Come here every year. Love it. Only gripe was a few hairs in bathroom and bed after checking in. Would be nice if air con lefton as we arrived late and it took hours to cool down.

The Sands has an excellent location opposite the beach and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was a long walk to town especially on a hot day, so we had to use the car often.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Excellent beachfront location, clean comfortable and modern, everything we needed for Christmas. We felt very lucky to secure this booking a couple of days before Xmas (assume someone cancelled) as location, price and amenities were perfect. It’s a short drive to town amenities, but only 3-5 minutes. Pool.

Right beside the beach and close to all shops and cafes. Very well maintained property and grounds.

It was an excellent place for a family and we had an fantastic time.

Disappointed there were no lifts. Room was clean and tidy. Great swimming pool and beach across the street.

We did not like that we had booked an Ocean view apartment and were given an apartment looking into bushes. The kitchen was not clean the sinks needed a good cream cleanser on them and the outside of the oven was greasy and the microwave. By booking through Wotif unfortunately the venues give you the lesser rooms.

We asked to change apartments due to adjacent renovations. The apartment we were offered was old and disgusting and badly in need of an upgrade.

Nice, quiet friendly spot to stay with the family

Surrounds and gardens were beautifully maintained and well signed. Inside we found apartment was run down and very used- requires new bed and bedding/doonas and pillows had odour, ceiling fans. Dissapointing when outside appearance was inviting.

Our family had a lovely stay. Waking up with the beach view made it extra special.

Clean and quiet. Easy access to public beach. Good pool and doa area

The location is excellent and saw whales breaching many times. The apartment was in need of a good clean. Burnt on ?cheese both on stovetop and bench top. Kitchen bench & dining table covered in dust, table also had food stuck on it. Drain under bathroom sink leaking for a while as wood had become swollen, office didnt know about leak but organised repair same day. Grounds in the complex are well kept. No lifts so have to lug your luggage up the stairs.
