Great location a minutes walk to the beach and park

These units are compact but great for a short stay and perfectly located a short walk from the beach. We travelled with small children and would request a ground floor unit if ever we stayed again.

There are no views. The property is very old and in desperate need of updating. We didn’t end up staying as it did not feel safe nor could I justify the amount we had paid to stay at the property. Everything is old, the air cons don’t work well and the doors and windows did were not secure. The walls were dirty, there were patched holes in the walls, the power points were loose, the curtains had holes in them. The kitchen cabinets were warped. The air con units were at least 50 years old. This is no where near a 4* property. 2.5* at most I could not stay or feel that family would be safe staying there. The ONLY good thing about that property were the staff. When I spoke to them about all of my concerns they were very understanding and worked towards getting a refund straight away.

Room was clean and spacious. Not like the photos. Didn’t see the pool. The bar, restaurant and food was great.

Staff are friendly & helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable but in need of a bit of maintenance to address wear & tear issues. Adequately appointed with a comfy bed. Good shower. Air conditioning is good.

Stayed in same apartment as last time🎉 bathroom floor looks better than last time (points for them reading their reviews) and I did get the pet bond all back last time. Staff were lovely but unfortunately unable to give me 1 more night - their 'pet rooms' were fully booked😭. Intend to keep this as my 'regular place to stay' in Mackay.

Room was good - floors needed a deep clean (you can see dirt on the floor tiles nearest the walls & edges of shower recess) Staff were wonderful & very helpful. Expedia doesn't mention a $100 pet bond needed to be paid upon arrival - not recieved it back yet (with absolutely no damage / accidents & its 3 days later) but will update if received in next 24hrs

Nice clean room. Easy access to the bar, restsurant and beach. Great food and really friendly staff.

The room in general was clean and tidy, just a few little issues like the shower had not been cleaned very well in a long time. But other than that nice location and ample parking.

Great location. Meal at restaurant was great. Overall, our stay was great. Thank you.

We need ed somewhere for a week during renovations at home. We picked this hotel based on the fact that they allowed us to take our cat.

Lovely quiet area

Top little place to stay the pet friendly rooms a very good and the hotel and beach are with in easy walking distance with plenty of room to walk your pets will definitely be staying again

Close to the beach, apartment was good. No one available in the reception though it was working hours, the woman in charge of reception was rude

Went concert at sea breeze tavern .. accommodation worked well as it is a bit far out ..

I had to leave a deposit of 100 dollars an was told I would get it back the next day but in the morning a different lady said no they couldn't so not sure wats going on but that's not right paying 241 for a night with no food thanks I won't be recommending this hotel at all
