Fantastic property if you don’t mind old world charm instead of modern flashy style

I did not stay here, but I paid for two friends, and they were delighted. No hesitation in recommending it.

The communication was great and the check in process was well coordinated. The property was excellent value, it was clean tidy and well appointed, with easy onsite parking and located in a great spot to grab some food and take a walk around. The breakfast basket was also much appreciated. Cheers

Second time of staying at Captain's Retreat Apartments. Love the apartments, which have a beautiful view over Hobsons Bay.

Great property in a lovely location virtually right on the harbour and cafe/shopping precinct. The room was immaculate and spacious, opening onto common lounge and rear balcony, would definitely stay here again!

This is an older style property in an awesome location. The kitchen is new. The couches and blinds were brand new. To have 3 bedrooms, bay views from the living room, and the ability to walk around Williamstown was awesome!

Melissa is a wonderful host. A very warm and inviting place to stay in a great part of Melbourne that I knew nothing about.

Great spot! The apartment is old but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Only issue was the shuddering pipes when you showered! They were teally loud.

We were welcomed the minute we walked in. Hostess very helpful booking restaurant for tea and showing us around. Great location, comfy beds and lovely deck out the back to relax on

Great welcome, great location, private, quiet and far more homely than any hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Captains Retreat and will stay again on my next visit. PS: thank you for the little treats!

A beautiful old world building very close to the water and walking distance to just about everything. Very nice hosts that were very helpful when I mentioned I was looking for a place to go out. Will definitely be back.
