We were here in October 2017. Hotel was nice, had a shared kitchen that we didn't use. Can walk to a few restaurants nearby. There was a hot tub that was shared as well. We only stayed one night so we didn't try it out. It was a little difficult to find the place, and once we did we weren't sure about the parking situation. But we figured it out. The place was nice and clean. Would stay here again.

The hotel was haunted. Lots of nose at night. Wind howling through the cracks in the window. Machine in common area making noise all night. Didn't sleep well.

Great experience at this place with cleaning facilities and convenient full kitchen access. Love it!

Really enjoyed our stay. Parking out front, wonderful front desk staff, large room with tv and balcony. Great value and super clean.

Considering value for money Guesthouse Garun was the best place we stayed in Iceland and we stayed in 2 other guesthouses and 2 hotels. Facilities and comfort were excellent.

Much better than I expected. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, jacuzzi available, check in/check out is super easy and convenient.

Amazing place for a stay in the south of Iceland. Spotlessly clean and lovely staff. Would recommend for a stay.

We first went to the other guesthouse but then the owner was kind enough to personally come pick us up. Then we were checked into our room which was nice & spacious. The bathroom were shared but were in immaculate condition. It rather felt like home than a hotel. The host is super awesome. She even did the laundry for us & when I went to pay, she said it was on the house. The guesthouse offers a fully equipped kitchen. This place combines a hotel & AirBnB. The host go above & beyond to make you feel comfortable. We stayed in quite a few places in Iceland but this is the best of all. Highly recommended!

Very nice staff. The room is big clean. beds are comfortable. They have a kitchen down stair that you can use and store food tin the fridge I wish they have more place to hang clothes/ jacket. We are there November so we have more layers The bathroom need to have some hooks for hanging towel... Overall it is a very good room

Room was big for 2 people, and great for the price you pay. The receptionist (forgot her name) was super nice, attentive, and helpful with any questions. Would definitely stay again should I come to Iceland later.

Excellent property. Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Excellent service from the owner as well as staff. Wonderful hot tub to enjoy in the evening. Very central location in Selfoss and Selfoss is very central to visit destinations in Southwest Iceland. Highly recommended.

A fantastic place to stay. The staff go out of their way to accommodate you. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodations are spotless and very well maintained. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Nice, clean, well furnished, large rooms. Shared bathroom was also to high standard and good provision of kitchen facilities.

The guesthouse was clean, comfortable and in a local neighborhood in Selfoss. There was a kitchen you could use to cook your meals, store your produce, beverages. Sigrid was most welcoming as a host and gave us a thorough tour of the property. Wifi was very fast and tv had had all kinds of international stations. The beds were very comfortable. The guesthouse is great value as the hotels will charge you twice as much for an over night!

Very nice hotel. there is no elecator which I did not notice on website. no one there to carry our bags

Charming yet modern guesthouse. Hats off to the owner, who was super friendly and really went out of his way to make you feel at home.
