Reception staff was really great they are pleased to help you with anything. Staff at the bar is really professional with their work, and willing to give you the best possible service huge shoutout to Michaels at the bar, perhaps the best customer service i ever experienced. On the downsites not really anything serious exept the soundproofing could be better, rooms are clean and modern, amenities are really nice

The hotel was very clean, the pool large, lovely and clean and the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Just a few steps from the pool to the beach. The pool snack bar/ restaurant did decent tasty well priced food where you can sit overlooking the beach. My only gripe would be the hard mattress and pillows. Other than that a fabulous place.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it was a few of the guests who let it down sitting on the balcony talking loudly late into the early hours.

We stayed in the superior studio in the off season so price was great. Room was very clean and shower was awesome. Free breakfast overlooking the large pool and ocean. A+ staff super friendly

Marinos Beach Hotel Apartments were great! You couldn't get a better location, a stones throw from the beach and close to some great bars, restaurants and shops. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and there was always plenty of hot water for a shower at the end of the day. The breakfasts were delicious. Staff were all very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them and they were very attentive to our needs. Thank you!

On arrival all the way yo departure, Asterios on rrception was amazing. So professional and welcoming and couldn't do rnough for us. A great ambassador for hotel. The nee Duits were beautiful, just like the photos and the pool right on the beach was fab (albrit too cold to rnjoy). Breakfast was ample but like being in a canteen with self serve plastic trays. Not sure about havibg to return your crockery and trays. Just like beibg at school. The marvellous setting compensated for it thoughh. However, the manager/owner was not welcoming. No welcome smile, no converaation, lounged around in reception and at breakfast bar all day and night. I know there has bern a family tragedy ad there was a shrine in reception but it didn't stop his wife and daughter who worked all day non stop. Move away from the hotel and let your staff run the show. such a dhame ad I wanted to give it a higher score

Hotel is wonderfully located next to the beach. Staff helpful couldn't be better

The hotel location is just great, walk through hotel garden and straight onto the beach. We had booked a 1 bed studio which was in the new block, a beautiful modern room + bathroom but no balcony. On asking where our balcony was, we were shown a table and 2 chairs on the corner of a corridor. This was not acceptable some upgraded to a 1 bedroom end apartment overlooking the garden and pool with a sea view in the older block. Sounds wonderful but this block is so tired looking and really needs updating. We had a spacious balcony but the bathroom which comprises of bath/shower, wash basin and toilet was disappointing and not at all safe for elderly people. Climbing in and out of the bath was downright dangerous as there is a fixed glass panel covering two thirds of the bath leaving one third to climb in/out of the bath and unfortunately the curved base of the bath is at this end with nothing to hold onto. We were told by management that this was to be renovated quite soon. However we didn't allow this to spoil our holiday, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. Would return to this hotel if justvforbthe location.

Decent hotel totally worth the value. Very friendly staff, eager to help. Mr. Sterios is the person you want to deal with! Totally recommend if you want to be on the beach and close to Rethymno city.

We stayed at the Marino's Beach for five days when visiting Crete to attend a family wedding. The hotel provided just what we needed for a nice relaxing break. The staff were welcoming and very friendly and everything was just as described. The large pool is surrounded by a grassed area with sun loungers where we spent our days relaxing. The pool area is quite literally next to the beach and the snack bar is right there for a meal and drink if you want one. There are shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk away and a short walk to the taxi rank where you can hire a car to take you to other areas such as Old Town (about ten minute drive) for eight Euro. If we came back to Rethymno we would definitely book again.

We were in room 212 and the apartment had breathtaking view of the sea and beach which was directly in front. The balcony was large enough for a family and you could see the mountains, beach, garden, pool and restaurant. The restaurant did close around six pm (in October) but there many restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Perfect location for exploring the island. The staff (family) were friendly and approachable and provided us with excellent service and a recommendation for restaurants during our stay. The only negative (small one) is the room had twin beds rather than a double bed but the coco mat mattress was super comfortable and as the air conditioning units are placed on balcony you don't have any noise in the room. Both the bedroom and the living area had air conditioning blowers which could be individually controlled. Fantastic hotel which we would recommend to couples and families.

All in all a nice place with very helpsome staff. But the room is very noisy at night. You can hear highly when people a walking or talking. But that’s the only thing I can put a finger on.

Kleine, gepflegte Hotelanlage mit großem Pool und Frühstücksbereich/Poolbar. Im Innenhof wird ein schöner Garten liebevoll betreut. Liegt ca. 6 km östlich des Zentrums von Rethymno in einem Vorort. Bin bisher dreimal hier gewesen.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, schöne und gepflegte Anlage. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmerreinigung leicht unterdurchschnittlich.

Super freundlicher Service! Hatten gleich beim Check in festgestellt das wir ausversehentlich nur für eine Person gebucht hatten aber mussten trotzdem nicht mehr bezahlen und bekamen sogar das Frühstück für die 2 Person gratis dazu. Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber, allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Bad hätte größer sein können,nachdem Duschen stand das Wasser im Bad.

We kennen de familie al jaren, ze zijn de afgelopen jaren bezig om het complex helemaal op te knappen en het wordt supermooi!! Ontbijt is lekker Zeer vriendelijk personeel, altijd een feestje om daar te komen😘😘
