Beautiful property restaurant and bar in the hotel are amazing. Only drawback was the room was hot and would not cool off was 74-75 the entire stay making the room a bit uncomfortable

The Woodstock Inn & Resort is the quintessential New England inn. Walk in the lobby and you are greeted by a large warm fire. The staff at all levels were gracious and helpful. The room was large, well decorated and extremely comfortable. Great location to walk downtown even with single digit temperatures. The shops were expensive but worth browsing & buying.

Restaurant (bar) for evening meal was ok but expensive for what was on offer. Our server mixed up the bill and i wss charged twice!! Took several days to get refunded. Red Rooster dining for breakfast was NOT good. Always felt rushed, the "hot" food was Buffet style and not replenished reguarly - plus not much choice and bland to say the least. Cost $30 per person or $22 if you chose "continental" again depleted and very poor selection. Would advise going elsewhere for breakfast!

The Hotel is nice but the staff are not very well trained at the front desk. Our room was not ready at 4! The price of the room is outlandish compared to what you are getting.

The room was very small yet comfortable. Bathroom was very tight. Very little space to put things. The bed was very soft and cozy. However there was a dead bug squished in The curtains. Cookies and hot chocolate were a nice touch and a wine tasing with great cheese was a special treat. The entrance to the Billings farm was free because we stayed at the Inn. Nice touch.

The garden level hallways needs a facelift. Room was fine but the corridor carpet had stains and it looked a little dingy. Expected more for a 5 star resort.
