Service was excellent, but the room looks depressing and it was dirty in some areas (lamp covers, etc.). Unable to connect to the main Wi-Fi network (seems like a common issue for the historical building), and the staff had to loan us a Wi-Fi router which they expected us to bring down to the reception for the check-out. Wrong information was given for the breakfast hours, where the info sheet stated the last entry was at 8:30 AM, but the notice at the restaurant stated it was at 9 AM. Tried the dinner buffet, and it was one of the worst meals I had in Taiwan. I had been to this hotel before about 10+ years ago and did not recall it to be this bad. For a hotel that costs $700 for one night, it sure did not feel like it was worth it at all. Avoid booking the historical building rooms at all costs.
