Lovely and clean, rooms well maintained . Quiet at night, comfy beds. Staff were fab all over the hotel. Breakfast was great, well organised and hot. Will definitely stay here again when in Aberdeen.

Very comfortable and spacious room with excellent en suite facilities . Ample parking . Clean up market hotel which may not be suitable for certain disabled users due to the warren of passages that have to be negotiated.

Hotel was under remodel construction. Staff seemed confused and disrupted. I’d stay again but hopefully the remodel completes soon.

Staff was excellent, rooms were very nice….good shower and good bed. My issue was most of the rooms are on a lower level and have egress windows so you can’t see anything. Location is in a beautiful neighborhood, but there are no pubs or cafes close by

The Chester is the Goldilocks of hotels ,not too much and never too little. The hotel is located in an ideal place for the theatre or for visiting Aberdeens many tourists attractions with plenty of easy onsite parking. It is within walking distance of many restaurants but The Chester has its own exceptional dinning that offers something for everyone in a fabulous setting with their attentive and friendly staff always on hand to complete the relaxed fine dinng experience. The Chester is perfect.

Another lovely stay, but the bar service is a bit chaotic while the building works ongoing. Also a lot of dust on the tables (building work) so it took a while to find a clean table and to be served. Passed on feedback about overwhelming body odour smell in reception and it was sensitively handled. Not the usual front of house experience I have at Chester due to this unfortunately.

It is in a beautiful area of Aberdeen. An Area we know well. Have stayed at the Chester several times now and will do so again.

Stayed for 1 night, rooms lovely, some areas of the hotel shut for refurbishment , areas we were in were all very nice. Some noise in room as it was above the bar and garden room but not overly loud. Had dinner here very tasty, not huge portions but what you got was good. Would happily return.

Shower tiles covered in hair from previous occupant. Buffet breakfast very poor, cheap sausages, overcooked scones etc.

Amazing Suite and customer service top notch and caring

Friendly check in, nice looking room, wasn’t sure but mattress seemed lumpy and room quite noisy during the evening, hot water for shower seemed a bit lacking. Nice food in restaurant.

I love the Chester, it is a great hotel in Aberdeen. Staff are friendly, facilities are good, and the bar and restaurant are top notch. I try and stay there whenever I am in Aberdeen.

Matt in the bar makes the best cocktails and his service is fantastic and stands out from the other staff, the others could learn from him

Had a wonderful stay at the Chester. All the staff we encountered were lovely and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely feel to it. Did think that the bathroom was big enough to have a a bath and shower - we only had a shower but that would be the only negative. I hadn't asked for a bath so no complaint.
