Great place. Convenient. Close to the city (by motorcycle)

Beautiful property including restaurant and breakfast. Staff very pleasant.

You have to have a car to go there. Good for a short rest. There’s a swimming pool but without steps for going up. What would you expect with such a reasonable price.

Easy to find, quiet location with all the amenities. Did not stay for dinner. Breakfast was ok. The hotel room was very clean and updated. The entrance and lobby look a bit tired. Did not use the pool and although the room was great, our view was of a cement wall. We would have appreciated a balcony with a stunning view of the pool and nearby mountains but were not assigned there. There were so few guests which also made our stay nice an quiet.

Old family own facility with no updates on the rooms. The pictures from the hotel are twenty years old.

Best to have a car if you're staying here as it is 1.5 kms uphill from the town. Taxis are very expensive and hard to get. We were upgraded to a room in the new wing and it was great. First room was small and no view or balcony. Breakfasts were good, but the night we were going to have dinner there the restaurant was closed. The beer was cold and the wine was a generous pour.

Great hotel with beautiful views. Very nice seating area for drinks. Wonderful staff, very friendly and accommodating. They spoke/understood enough English to make interactions pleasant. There was a winery across the street we didn't make it to but it looked nice. Room air conditioning worked well, it was nice to have choice of tub or shower, very clean, bed was a little too firm but all in all it was very nice and we would stay there again. There is a restaurant there we didn't get the chance to try because we had reservations for dinner at the Banfi winery restaurant. This hotel is approximately 15 minutes from the Banfi winery estate.

Hotel was great. Food was good. View from room was magnificent. The wait staff spoke English very well and was very friendly and helpful. The owner was very nice too. He set us up with a local cabby who took us on a private wine tour of several vineyards nearby. We spent several hours just sitting one on one with the winemakers discussing the character of the wines and such. It was amazing and the the stay in Montalcino was the highlight of the trip.

A charming hotel, exceptionally clean, with very accommodating staff/owners. Three minutes by car to centre of montalcino, and perfectly located for us, for a beautiful drive through the Tuscan countryside to "castel banfi" (15KM) also highly recommend. If, or rather when we return, we will definitely be staying at "Hotel Brunello" again.

For not speaking Italian, and other than the language barrier, one of the best hotels in Italy for the price.

Booked this hotel for friends visiting Montalcino for the first time. They had a lovely junior suite with ample room and a beautiful terrace with outstanding views. We dined at the hotel for dinner which was superb. The chef is the wife of the hotel owner Mauro ( who manages the property and front desk) and she offers a wonderful range of regional Italian specialties complemented by fine rosso and brunello wines. The dining room is very elegant and would be ideal for a special private event.

Great,clean,modern, hotel just outside of town. Great room for price. Free parking.

A senhora que nos recebeu na recepção não demonstrou nenhuma simpatia. Na verdade parecia que estava nos fazendo um favor em nos receber. O cheiro de cigarro do lugar era insuportável. A minúscula televisão não funcionava. O box do banheiro foi o menor que jacto e a oportunidade de usar. Para completar minha péssima experiencia, o café da manhã servido era composto apenas de poucos produtos industrializados e a jarra de suco, não natural, de cor avermelhada, já estava servido sobre a mesa. Definitivamente foi o pior hotel que já estive em toda a minha vida.

Odore di fumo in tutto l'ambiente. Stanze datate e letti non confortevoli

Hotel vecchiotto, avrebbe bisogno di una rimodernata. E' stato sotto tutti gli aspetti sufficiente, ma non oltre. Il giardino per esempio aveva ancora gli arredi da sistemare dopo l'inverno, quindi era inagibile. Per colazione puoi scegliere tra dolce (di fresco solo un croissant, fette biscottate con marmellata, miele e crema alle nocciole) e salato (prosciutto e formaggio), caffè o cappuccino, un succo d'arancia, una bottiglietta di acqua. Il luogo è comodo per raggiungere il centro di Montalcino (si può fare anche a piedi, anche se è parecchio in salita verso l'albergo). Giudizio complessivo sufficiente, ma con buone potenzialità di miglioramento.

Ho pernottato e prima colazione. Posto tranquillo.
