The service was very Swiss like...friendly and inviting. The front desk girls spoke perfect English and was very polite. We stayed in a corner room, street side. It was noisy at night. I would've rather stayed in a room closer to the lake. There's a farm right across the street. The smell of the cows was unbearable when you stayed in the balcony. It's fine if you keep the doors closed. There's a strange smell in the room due to the cleaners they use in the toilet.
The room itself is comfortable. The bed, and blankets are top notch. The pillows are a bit too soft for me.
There are snacks on the table that don't have prices listed. They aren't free =( However there are baskets of fresh apples scattered all over the hotel. At the end of the stay, they gave me a jar of local made honey. Nice touch!
