Well run property in heart of Fez that survived COVID-19 by running lean and mean. We were one of only three families in this ~8 room hotel owned by a family with 2 other riads nearby. Room was clean, staff were pleasant and breakfast was hearty. For the 90 euro/night fee for my family of three this was a great choice.

Great welcome and a beautiful facility, I loved fhe room with private terrace. Quite near the medina entrance, while easy to access from the train station via taxi.

There is nothing I can say that I liked about this place. The overall experience was nothing like anything we had at any other Riad or Hotel during our 10 day trip in Morocco. The lady manager (Iman) was absolutely dreadful. Only pushing to sell things through this Riad and becoming rude and angry with us if we had other arrangements. She was not helpful at all. Rooms are dirty and falling apart. Breakfast we were served butter packages that when opened had mold in them. The owner of the hotel was no better. When he found that we no longer wanted to stay for the second night we had pre-booked he got extremely upset and at some times even threatening me. We were a family of 6 travelling Morocco for 10 days and we had the best experience in 6 cities with some of the kindest most welcoming people except for this place.

Nice Riad. But wont consider it a 4 star. Maybe really important that others realise that a Riad experience is very different to hotels.

I booked a room with a view. As it’s one of a dozen bookings on this trip, I failed to notice I was given the wrong (but beautiful) room. On request and after a few staff I was changed to the roof terrace room I booked. Shame about the rain. The pictures show the riad as it is, a beautifully laid out and appointed home. Another guest returned to find her belongings packed up and moved to another Riad entirely. With the mangeress blaming the customer to me “nothing but problems”. I don’t like overfamiliarity or guilt and baksheesh requests. I had booked a tour prior to my arrival and was made to feel guilty for not giving them the business. Yet my requests in return were not met with enthusiasm. When I requested an extra hour to check out I was made to feel as though it was a huge inconvenience. As though everything was out of their control. They had a quick attitude to blaming me or anyone else for errors or broken items or wrong rooms! Nothing was their fault! Not even the apparent owner accepted responsibility. They made me feel bad. They have a wonderful roof top they don’t tell their guests about! Hopeless. I didn’t mind sharing it with the sheets and towels. It added to the authenticity.

This was my first experience with a riad, and it was very nice. Unlike a hotel, you had to knock to enter each time you left, so that was a little inconvenient for me. However, the owners were very nice and concerned about our welfare. They took good care of us. Next time I will know what to expect and take advantage of the riad experience better.

Is a beautiful riad lovely breakfast , however we were given a room out of the riad in the building next door without any explanation , therefore we were not able to enjoy the real Moroccan ambiance of the room which was described in the act , very disappointing

This Riyad is beautiful - if you have a room at the top you will also have a great view - but, be warned there are lots of stairs to be climbed to get there! The decor is brilliant too - a lot of work has gone into this Riyad, and the food was quite adequate.

This is one of the best Riad's my family and I hav stayed in! Kept emaculatly clean with an extremely friendly and helpful staff. They were willing to go the extra mile to help us acclimate to Fez. Nothing less than a five star experience -- I look forward to going back. Afshan

A welcoming Riad that the staff could not do enough for you to makeep you feel at home. Outskirts of Medina but close enough to walk to and explore. Plenty of eating places around the area and small shops for bottled water etc. Get a guide ( re hotel ) to show you around the medina and after that you get a fair idea of how to negotiate it. Highly recommended Riad. (note no lifts as you would expect in this type of accomadation).

We felt welcome the instant we arrived. The staff went above and beyond to make up for us having to switch rooms from what we had originally booked. We ate a delicious Moroccan dinner and breakfast and drank the fresh mint tea. Our upgraded room was the the suite on the second night of our stay, which was huge and comfortable. Loved the close location to walk to the Medina. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope you choose this place so you can experience it too!
