The location could not be more perfect. The wonderful family who run the hotel really make this place. It’s been in the family for several generations. It’s not at all luxury - and the rooms are pretty basic but the prices don’t reflect that or mislead you in any way. In terms of the guests, be mindful that they are all generally below age 30 - and are in Ios to party! Some were inconsiderate blasting music in their rooms and talking on speaker phones but none of this is the hotel’s fault. If you want brilliant Greek hospitality at a good price (yes it’s a budget hotel but run by the most genuine of people, unlike many on Santorini), give this place a try and you’ll have a great time.

We got scared by all of the bad reviews but can’t relate at all! The hotel was clean, the staff lovely, and the pool an absolute lifesaver considering the cold ocean in Ios.

The staff was great. It is close to the port and bus stop. Great cafe 2 minute walk from the hotel. Away from the noise in the main village.

I booked this hotel by mistake , thinking it was in Santorini. When I noticed it wasn’t, I advised the hotel was in another island and I would not be able to make it. I booked it non refundable , because I had no thought it was wrong and I would need to cancel. Even with emails, messages and phone calls, the owner did not accept refunding the room or part of . They stayed weeks with no answer so that at the end no compassion whatsover…makes me wonder maybe if I was there, experience would have been as bad since they dont care about customers.

Noisy and not clean rooms, with poor conditions , was not a good experience at all..

If you’re a group of girls AVOID at all costs. One of the staff members who claims to be security enters all the rooms where girls are staying without warning. When we stayed there 3 different groups complained that he just walked into their room while changing clothes and he wouldn’t leave. When told to management they completely ignored it as if it’s normal…it’s extremely unsafe there for women.

Unclean and dirty.

The staff here were incredible, rooms are so clean and, great views and vibes by the pool and 10 min walk into village centre and 5 mins to/from the port with heaps of dining options. Highly recommend and also amazing price

The property was good for a 20-30 year old crowd.

Underwhelming for the price. We stayed on 4 different islands during our trip, this was somehow more expensive than Mykonos and Santorini so our hopes were high it'd be great. It's a great location, right by Ios port and beach. The beds were firm and the room air conditioning wasn't great, neither was the bathroom and shower. If I were going back to Ios, I'd look for somewhere else to stay.

I loved the pool and the location

A minute away from the port. Simple nothing fancy hotel but had cold AC. Hot shower. Comfortable bed. Nice staff. Nice pool. Reasonable rate. Nothing bad to say about this place.

I had a great room with amazing views! Seems like it’s being managed by lovely pensioners. Very close to the port. Only 15mins tough hike to the village.

Hotel is just beside the port. Cool swimming pool and bar. Staff are great. Room is basic but good standard

Outside area of the hotel and food here was good, the bathroom and running water didn’t work for some of our stay and we had no hot water for a night

Really good stay for a group of friends travelling together. Lovely and clean - clean sheets & towels provided everyday! 5 mins walk (if even) from the port & bus stop. Bus goes every 20mins up into the village. Very easy to get around transport wise. Staff are friendly and very helpful. If travelling with a group would definitely recommend staying here.

The rooms are basic but ours had nice view of the port from our balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It's a 5 minute walk from the ferry to the hotel, and everything in the port area is walking distance. There is a bus stop by the hotel that takes you to the middle of town. The pool was a huge plus. Note: most people staying here are in their 20s, so don't expect it to be a quiet hotel.

Great place clean friendly for couples and families, would definitely go back.
