The room was fantastic and the decor was unique. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was good, doesn’t have typical British breakfast items for English travellers. The bar was great for the evenings and had fantastic staff all round. The location is great and is 10 mins from the centre of Basel, I would definitely recommend staying here.

The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were super comfy. We were right next to the elevator and we never heard any sound, was pretty sound proof for weary travelers. Great location! We were very happy.

Initial room adjacent to elevator, which was very noisy - relocated us to much better room, w/o too much haggling. Room spacious, & clean. Great Workout/ Sauna areas. Abit noisy at night but fine for one night. Parking and room tax issue at end of stay. I informed them to put on room card. Did not happen and they keep sending me emails to pay- grr.

It was a lovely property with a clean and inviting room, excellent shower, helpful staff. Wonderful location close to Kunstmuseum and central part of Basel, yet quiet and delightful.

An ultra modern style to the hotel offset by local crafts, design and food. Really interesting vibe.

Nice place, good location

Nice hotel close to the city centre, main station and tram stop. Nice gym and a private sauna you can book which was great. Free fruit on each floor with still and sparking water taps, Nespresso coffee and tea. Breakfast seemed quite pricey so we just ate the free fruit and bought some stuff in the supermarket around the corner. One thing, the toilet had a kinda funny door and you have a gap when it is closed to it is not super sound proof.

Being a foreigner in Switzerland, I would have liked the TV to be really able to show subtitles. That was nearly impossible to do. The room was wonderfully located and very decently sized. The AC unit in the room was only adequate, and given the unusual heat at that time, an AC unit which could be adjusted would have been preferred. However, I did love the idea of getting away from the hyper-expensive AC systems as an idea.

The hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The room was super modern and stylish (I loved the design details), and little touches like a refillable water bottle and a Dyson air purifier really stood out. The location is also spot on: an easy walk from the train station and close to all the main sights and great restaurants. I’m not sure what anyone could dislike, though to be fair, I was only there for one night… maybe not long enough to find any flaws! 😄 Would definitely stay again.

Very helpful staff

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was cosy with a cool fit out and interesting items. We did have noise problems being next to the lift and the restaurant/bar playing loud music under us until late. The staff did an amazing job relocating us to a quieter room (even when it was fully booked out) and made sure we were happy.

I enjoyed the size of our room. We enjoyed having the privacy of the sauna area one night. The idea of having a coffee station was a good idea with fresh fruit available . At our check in Mika was very helpful pointing out areas in Basel to visit. The hotel is close to the tram service which is also complimentary . We used it a couple of times to explore. Hotel is close to Starbucks and restaurants that are very walkable. I felt I made a very good choice with this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are really charming, go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Rooms really well appointed with great shower and comfy beds. It is also very centrally located, you can walk everywhere in less than 15 minutes. We were very happy at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Basel - you won't be disappointed! We were sorry to leave!
