Very clean. Friendly. Great breakfast

The breakfast was delicious with different options. There is free parking on the premises and some restaurants within walking distance for dinner. Very nice owners and house. The bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend.

Came for a 5-night break in the Lake District, this B & B did not disappoint. The owners Susann & Glenn were very welcoming. Shoes are left at the door, so do bring slippers. The rooms are bright, spotlessly clean, well furnished with tea, coffee & biscuits plus a small fridge, all thoughtfully and immaculately presented. Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit with yoghurt & granola, followed by a full cooked breakfast. fruit juices, toast and preserves. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a lakeside walk into Bowness, which is lovely and takes a 10-minute leisurely stroll. Nothing was too much trouble, we would happily stay again. Parking is on site.

Absolutely lovely stay at Storrs Gate. Easy parking, quiet location close to Marina, rooms spacious & spotless, breakfast fantastic, hosts and service simply amazing. Thank you all will stay again.

Great hosts and amazing location

We only stayed at Storrs Gate House for one night to break a long journey to Scotland but we would have no hesitation in returning for longer to explore the area properly. The accommodation was supremely comfortable, the breakfast was superb and the hosts were wonderfully welcoming. Storrs Gate House is only a short and pleasant stroll from the centre of Bowness but far enough away to be quiet and tranquil. Altogether top notch. Highly recommended.

Good location, clean rooms. Good breakfast. The gardens are lovely as well, although we were there in inclement weather. Would be lovely in the summer. We would make one suggestion - the host asked us to leave our shoes at the front door which is fine, as obviously that keeps the property very clean, but it would have been good to know before we arrived as then we could have taken slippers, but this didn’t detract from our stay.

This place was perfect. It was spotless. Lots of little extras that made it special. Breakfast was all local and delicious. Hosts were so friendly. Could not pick fault with anything.

We had a great couple of days. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We were well looked after and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit the Lake District.

What a pleasure to stay at this beautiful property, with fantastic hosts. The quality of the breakfast is top draw and without a doubt the best egg and bacon sandwich I have ever tasted. A short beautiful walk along the lake leads to bars and shops. We will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous stay in the Storrs gate bed and breakfast. Everything was wonderful. Our room was lovely and the breakfast was very nice. It's just a short walk to lake Windermere and all amenities. Really lovely!

The place and rooms were nice but the experience was overshadowed by the bad behaviour of the hostess. We were 15 minites late in checking out coz i had bumped my head. She never offered to help while my forehead was swelling up, refused to give ice or anything to help and just wanted us out of the room. She closed the door to the living room area when we came down the stairs and made us wait for our taxi out in the cold..
