Loved how the room was set up. The little corner fireplace made the room seem so cozy. The night we stayed it was cold and raining out. Also had a large tv. The lobby was really nicely furnished and looked comfortable and inviting. There was an ice machine right near our room in the hall as well as a microwave and extra refrigerator. Warm cookies were available as we returned to our room. Would love to come back to this hotel in the summer. All the furnishings and artwork on the walls were perfect for a hotel close to a beach. Very clean place.

Great modern hotel, extremely pleasant and helpful staff, and a wonderful clean room. No complaints about the hotel at all and we'd go back. What would have made this 5 stars was the breakfast - maybe because it was off season, but some of the food was not fresh. The bread was moldy.

Check in was smooth… room spacious and clean. Decor is fantastic and location is exceptional.

The hotel is beautiful! Our room was clean, very comfortable bed, very nicely decorated. Fireplace was nice after the pool. Breakfast was delicious and great assortment! However, the elevator was broken so we had to carry luggage and go up and down to third floor. The pool was not as hot as previously and staff could not get the sauna on. We ate at the restaurant upstairs. Only 2/7 taps had beer. We arrived at 7:10 and were enjoying a cocktail but were told we had to order dinner quickly as kitchen closed at 7:30, even though restaurant was open to 9. Calamari appetizer was very good but food was not very good. Lights in the staircase were out so dark to go up to the restaurant . All staff were very friendly and tried to help as much as they could. Seems like it is off season and maybe hotel should not be open during this time if they cannot run efficiently.

The place is beautiful, comfortable and clean. I did not eat the breakfast so I can not comment on the foods. There was one thing that I hope the hotel do in the future is to provids a bottle of water in the room for guests since bottle of water is not that expensive. We got to the hotel really late and could not find water anywhere for the night. Over all I’m happy with the hotel and direction to check in. Will stay there again.

This was our second time staying at the Break and will be coming back again! Staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a great couple massage at the spa. Close enough to all the activity of Newport, but calm and peaceful at The Break!

The Break is an adorable property. The decor is very New England beach vibes and the location was perfect for me to get to the start line of a 10K. I’m looking forward to returning during the summer. Oh, the breakfast was delish, too!

Everything was on point, Excellent interior design, spotless, service impeccable and friendly, food excellent, The pool was warm , clean and fabulous on a chilly day, the outdoor sauna was great. As guests we felt considered on every level with many unexpected extra comforts for example, fresh cookies in the hall way centers and a view of both sunrise and sunset. A super place from start to finish. We will absolutely return with pleasure
