Arrived ~7:30 and the check-in system was down so they couldn't check me in. After waiting over an hour in the lobby, around 9pm, they let me into a room that was vacant but I couldn't have a room key bc the system was still down, so I couldn't really leave the room, for example, to go to the fitness center, which I had really wanted to. Then, around midnight, the front desk called the room to "check if anyone was in it." It was such a cluster! I'm not one to make a fuss but I honestly think they should comp us the night. They definitely need a system so that they can give people rooms and keys the old fashioned way (ie, a log) if there is an IT issue.
It was also kind of funny because ahead of my stay the hotel had sent me multiple messages to download their app to create a digital check in pass, which I did but after all that, it turned out you still have to check in at the front desk and obv they couldn't 🙄
The room itself was nice, location was great!
