Beautiful property with excellent service. Everyone was friendly and very kind! We will definitely stay there again.

This property is beautiful, especially the rooftop restaurant. The location is great, central to everything. The room is enough for those who are not looking for all the bells and whistles, my need was a place to sleep. The staff was great and accommodating. My only cons are the free parking is a couple a blocks away, getting hot water and maintaining hot water was difficult, and in my room (first floor by the front desk, 101) I found a roach. I believe this isn't the norm.

Our stay at El Carmen was lovely - the staff were friendly and the hotel is located close to everything we wanted to check out. They have a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view, the parking is included, and we felt we were in a safe location.

This hotel was quaint with great customer service. Not fancy but serves the purpose close to everything!

Lovely hotel! Room was cozy and comfortable. Staff was really accommodating for a very early checkout. Wasn’t a problem for me, but the room key was pretty bulky (physical key vs a card)

Breakfast is wonderful, staff very friendly. The rooftop is wonderful! They have a travel agent on site which help with our transport to Panajachel..the only thing is that the agent said they would drop us off directly to our hotel and when we arrived to the city, they told us they couldn’t take us to hotel and we had to take a Tutuk. This is the only thing that we thought was unfair, however, we know it’s not the hotel’s fault.

Loved this property! It was centrally located ,walkable to restaurants ,attractions everything! The staff here was amazing! The room was nice,I especially loved the bathroom.It was very modern.The free breakfast was a nice touch and so delicious! I would definitely stay here again.I was a solo female traveler and I felt very safe here.

The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. If I have to visit again I will definitely be staying here again.

I was highly satisfied with my stay at this hotel! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was absolutely amazing—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to choose from. One of the highlights was the rooftop, which offered stunning views and the perfect spot to relax. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying here again!
