The staff were really lovely, good breakfast!

A bit like staying in old dormitories. Very basic. Mattress was awful. Dinner in the restaurant was good.

Nice Hotel .. had been updated nicely ... lovely bathroom and shower. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. The resturant had excellent meals. Breakfast was lovely.

We were met by the manager of the Abbotsford hotel almost immediately and he generously welcomed us and made us feel welcome. Although the building may appear older on the outside, the inside is up to date and comfortable. We had drinks in the bar(relaxing as we listened to locals chew the fat) and then dinner which was very good. The menu is diverse and reasonable. If ever in the area again, I’d stay here.

Staff were excellent.

The staff were wonderful. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I was there for a funeral and coming back to the hotel after some stressful days was very comforting. The food in the restaurant was excellent. My adorable waitress, Jane, said I hope you come back in happier circumstance. I hope so too!

Hotel has its flaws and has it's positives. Cannot fault the staff. Staff are amazing. Really friendly and make you smile. Food seems to be microwaved. Comes out as fast as you say your order and it boiling hot. Rooms are dated but comfortable, dust was falling out of the vent in the bathroom which is something you don't need whilst brushing your teeth. The over lay and cushions on the bed were stained. Lovely touch with the biscuits.

This was an overnight stay to break up driving. Easy to get to, lovely, helpful staff, nice restaurant. Wi-Fi though didn’t work at all in the room, only in restaurant, not happy.

Accommodating staff. We hadnt booked for a evening meal, they managed to get us a table despite being very busy on a Saturday evening. Quiet room, no traffic noise. Very comfortable bed. Good stay

Staff were very pleasant and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean. Both evening meal and breakfast were excellent.

Terrible experience with this hotel. They advertise laundry facilities, but do not have one. When we brought this up, they rudely told us we could leave (at 9pm) for a refund. They clearly have no intent on fixing the false advertising. Hotels.com support was very helpful, and made a note that the hotel said they would compensate us for the lost amentity but DID NOT do so (Abbatsford staff lied to hotels.com staff). Very hot and stuffy hotel. No air con and only a very small window (with storm window blocking) for airflow. We WILL NOT stay here again and recommend staying elsewhere.
