Good location next to the Gate of Dawn, at the top of the old city in an easily walkable area. Pleasant suite. The only negative we had was the plastic mattress covers, which we find uncomfortable.

Beautiful facility in historic Old Town. Clean and comfortable beds, very good and friendly service.

The place was really clean and the service from the reception was wonderful. Location is best in town, next to the Gate of Dawn, Market hall and the train/bus terminals. It’s a modest but nice and really quiet hotel in a historical building. Be aware that some double rooms (not all of them) have 2 single beds just slightly pushed towards each other and they easily slide apart. Maybe it was mentioned somewhere in the room description but we missed it. Reception kindly offered us to change the room for our last night.

The Domus Maria hotel was in a great location, was super clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend

Hotel is in a very good location for the old city with nearby Restaurants and Bars.The area is both quite and safe. The rooms are a decent size and clean. Good powered showers. Staff are excellent. Hot breakfast needs to be more varied. Breakfast staff again excellent

The property has an interesting history as a former monastery. It is inside compound so it might be kind of hard to find it if you arrive at night. The rooms are spacious, clean, with comfortable beds. I liked that they provided bedroom slippers and bathrobes which are not always present in 3 star hotels. The hotel is near the Gates of Dawn and the rest of the old town is within 5 to 15 min walk. There were a lot of options for beeakfast with some modifications in the menu everyday. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Will not hesistate to book this hotel again or recommend to friends.

Great staff, good location, clean hotel

Check in was smooth and was accommodated at an earlier time. The reception staff was very friendly and kind. We asked for a breakfast box and was given it prior to leaving but the cafe was already open before 08am and was told that we are welcome to have breakfast. So nice of them to accommodate us. Domus Maria was very close to tourist areas. The price is very reasonable and is very highly recommended! breakfast was very good.

Fantastic location right by the Gate of Dawn in the old town made this a perfect location for me explore the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bed was ok for comfort but under the bed sheets I found old hairs which brings the grade down. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic.

Great location right by the old city gate, but the hotel was hard to find when I arrived. Room was rather small with two tiny beds and two small separate shower and toilet rooms on the opposite sides of the room, which was very inconvenient. Electric Tea cattle in the room was a plus. Breakfast buffet was average. Receptionist was very helpful with finding a good place to eat near by.
