We had a back room with a garden view. Loved the stream and bush setting. It was a nice quiet place to stay.

Erica was very helpful when we arrived and gave us some great local information. The room was lovely and decorated to a high standard. Lovely outside space to sit. Very peaceful. Had a great night sleep in a comfortable bed. I wish we could have stayed longer in beautiful Akaroa. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Had everything we needed

Room was a good size and we had everything provided that we required. Staff very helpful. Used the washing machine and dryer which was very welcome after travelling around South Island. Lots of restaurants close by and more if you wished to walk a bit further over to the harbour. Worth booking if the area is busy. It was quiet when we were there and a few the restaurants were still fully booked. A quick vacuum of the stairs and the balcony area would have given it a 5 star, but we couldn't fault it overwise. Great couple of nights.

The bed was very comfortable.

Erica the host was friendly n gracious. Her service support was excellent. One kink was the matress when sleeping on it tend to be lop sided to the edge. The other kink was wifi keep losing connection to internet. A more strudy cutting/chopping knife would be good.

Great location and excellent condition. Be aware that although the room is marketed with kitchette you are not allow to cook onions, bacon, fish curries or fry anything which makes it very difficult to prepare a meal. There is a BBQ but no light to see what you are cooking and the smokers area is a couch and ash tray butted up against the BBQ. Consider you needs before booking.
