Spotless Room. Bathroom was spectacular. I will definitely return

The Alvarton always earns high marks for exceptional service and luxury accommodations whenever I stay. Always a pleasure to see the staff, rest in the historic rooms, and dine in the restaurant and bar. I look forward to staying again.

Lovely atmosphere and felt like they looked after us really well. Took my small dog, and felt no pressure. Lovely stay.

Staff are very professional. Room was lovely, bathroom was small but ok for 1night .Hospitality tray was good with a nice selection. Breakfast was very busy .Hot food was good We will definitely return

Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. Our room (12) was warm and comfortable. The bathroom was modern, with large shower and good quality towels. The room was well-stocked with local Cornish teas and coffees, and with extra touches.

Another excellent stay. We were in room 42 which is perfect for us as its on the ground floor. The staff are fantastic as always and the breakfast is delicious. Will definitely be going back.

Brilliant stay.

The staff - from receptionists to bar and waiting staff were phenomenal and couldn't do enough for us. They were very dog friendly! The dinner service was incredible, as was the breakfast. We had a wonderful stay and will come again - thanks so much!

Comfortable, warm and welcoming

The room was clean and spacious, with a small double appointed as a single bed which was lovely. Loads of storage space too. The bathroom was excellent, really big for a single room, and stocked with the amazing Bloom Remedies products I've come to love in this chain. I booked last minute and asked to be placed in the quietest part of the hotel, which was accommodated. The hotel is a beautiful building with lush grounds, ample parking and is situated only a 10-15min stroll from the city centre, yet is really really quiet at night. Breakfast, with table service and both hot and cold options, is generously portioned and also included in the rates. You're not rushed to vacate the table at all. Reception staff and cleaners were all friendly and smiley, which speaks volumes for the ethos of the place. Cannot fault a thing, will definitely visit again as a solo female traveller.

This hotel is absolutely amazing we have stayed at the Alverton Hotel before so knowing it was such a beautiful hotel we booked it again. We arrived at the check in and had a warm welcome as always but then must to our surprise we also had a fabulous complimentary upgrade. This was so kind of the hotel, the staff are very friendly extremely helpful as well, the hotel is spotless and the food is excellent. Our hotel room was absolutely stunning I could not ask for more with this hotel and we have booked it again for Valentine’s Day. One of the best hotels would highly recommend this hotel to anyone what can I say a wonderful stay again with the amazing complimentary upgrade too. Thank you so much cannot thank you enough for your hospitality and kindness with the upgrade.

Clean and plenty of space in the room

Had a lovely big room at the back of the hotel. Very clean. Staff extremely polite at a very busy time of year. Food was excellent, a lovely stay.

Our room wax out in the courtyard, we were very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and our breakfast was very nice.
