An excellent and very well-priced B&B in the heart of Carlisle. Mel is very welcoming and will ensure that you have everything you need. My room was very nice, with the fluffy dressing gown and particularly nice addition. Breakfast options were varied and more than sufficient for fuelling walkers for the day. I wouldn’t hesitate in returning.

I stayed here for one night, travelling back through Carlisle on a work trip from Scotland and what a fantastic place to stay. Melanie is a brilliant host who clearly cares about her guests having a wonderful experience. I had the single room with en-suite and was so impressed with the comfort, cleanliness and all of the little touches, like proper coffee, fancy tea, snack tray, dressing gown, lovely toiletries, I really felt like I was staying in a luxury hotel! Breakfast was also delicious. I would highly recommend staying here and I hope to be passing through again one day so I can stay again. Thanks for your amazing hospitality Melanie!

Really lovely stay here! Room was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. Hosts were very communicative and friendly. Would happily stay here again!

Really nice and friendly owners. The rooms are nice and cosy it's a 3 minute walk to all the shops and bars etc I wouldn't highly recommend.
